After a month of researching mattresses (tons of other brands, plus the Tempurs) I decided upon the LuxeAdapt Soft-it was delivered & set up yesterday & I could not be happier. Our previous (expensive) mattress sunk like the Titanic after 10 years-literally, one side & then the other so we were sleeping in a hammock. I sleep on my side, I was convinced that I had restless leg syndrome or something, I definitely have skin pressure issues & had lower back surgery 12 yrs ago, so I'm all over the place all night. Last night, for the first time in years, I basically slept in one spot without turning over every hour because of hip pain. I believe I turned over one time. Unbelievable. So far it's 2 thumbs up.

When we first got our TP Luxe-adapt in soft, we absolutely did not like it!! For something that's supposed to be soft, it was like sleeping on concrete!! We were ready to return it! But we did like we heard and slept on it for a while and finally after around a month, something changed and I loved it. I read where it has to go through a break in period and something about the cells needing to open up. I guess that's the case! My husband says it's still hard to him but that it's better. Unfortunately he is still having trouble falling asleep on it. Not me though!! My brother has had a TP for 10 years and they love it so we decided to give it a try. LOTS of money, but hopefully will keep us from having to purchase a new bed every 5-7 years. We did not get the adjustable base. Just too expensive for us!! But would have considered if more affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a new mom and have had a lot of back & hip pain postpartum plus trouble sleeping in general. After switching to this mattress I already feel like a new human! I was a little nervous about the firmness but it really molds to my body easily. I move around quite a bit and it will only take a few seconds to readjust to my new position and hug my body perfectly. I no longer wake up with hip or back pain & I also feel like I am more rested even when I don't actually sleep a full night sleep. I feel like I've been dreaming more which means I'm spending more time in the restorative REM cycle sleep. Amazing a mattress can do all that and this new mom is very happy!

I had lower chronic back pain. I went on a weekend getaway and slept on a TemperPedic mattress for two nights while there. On the second morning, my girlfriend and I got up that morning, looked at each other , and said 'No More Backpain' I was amazed. I knew I was going to get one as soon as I got home. I did my research and test laid on various models and settled on the TEMPER-Luxe Adapt Soft. My back is great! I sleep much better. I love my TEMPER-Luxe Adapt Soft.

Bought the top of the line Adapt mattress and it has literally destroyed my back. I am now sleeping on my downstairs sofa (and getting a pain free night's sleep) since the horrible customer service has refused to fix the problem. Don't waste your money!

This is the 3rd mattress we've owned from Tempurpedic. Previous we have had TWO of the supreme cloud breeze. After returning both of them due to manufacturers defects the amazing customer service team at Tempurpedic agreed to upgrade us to the proadapt luxe. This mattress is worlds better in every way better than the supreme cloud breeze. This is how a true Tempurpedic mattress should feel. We fall asleep immediately and do not toss and turn at all with this mattress. It keeps you cool and gives you support where you need.

By far, the LuxeAdapt Mattress is the best mattress that my wife and I have ever slept on. We went for the Firm model since we like a harder surface and we cannot be any happier with that choice. Our bodies sink ever so slightly into the mattress when resting on it and the support feels amazing. We both wake up feeling more rested and without any back pain! This is what sleep should feel like! I would definitely recommend this mattress to anyone in the market for one.

For years I have been testing tempurpedic mattresses in stores. I always thought to myself, "gee I don't want to spend that much on a mattress". Then my typical back aches that I usually get through having a larger chest and years of dancing got worse! I found myself going to the massage therapist more frequently. My family member suggested a purple mattress as being one of the best on the market in terms of comfort and price. I had the Purple for 1 night and I woke up with a back so achy that I could barely walk. I was told by the customer service rep. that I needed to "break in the mattress". It was the softest brand they had. I decided to return purple. I went to the mattress store and tried out the tempur-lux adapt soft and I wanted to fall asleep on the spot! I also tried the tempur cloud pillow which angle my head perfectly! I have had memory foam pillow in the past and I have always woke up with major neck pain! This was not the case with the tempur cloud pillow! I slept like a baby and bounced up out of bed ready to start the day! I was told that when I received the tempurluxe adapt mattress soft that it wouldn't be as form fitting as the one in the showroom was. This was an accurate statement. When I received the mattress it was firmer, but throughout the month I have had it it has loosened up. The break-in for the tempurluxeadapt was nothing like the Purple. I did not have any back issue with the tempurluxeadapt. It did it's job. I am so far extremely pleased with the product. My only concern is, will it last 10 years or more given the fact that I live in a very humid part of the country and my place does not have much insulation ? If this does not affect the mattress and if I get over 10 years out of the mattress before it begins to sink then I will be extremely pleased! So far I would say this is a great product and if you have back issues and you are on the fence about this item just purchase it! I even nick named the mattress fluffy! ;)

Having owned Tempur-Pedic products since 2000 and having to replace our 23 year old Tempur-Pedic we were amazed at the new things offered. We have opted to get the split king as we are in our 70s and would have the best beds if we were to become bed bound. We have the Split King with the Tempur-Pedic-Ergo Extend Smart Base. Best of the best. We had a regular Tempur-Pedic king on a regular frame for 23 years. If this great set up lasts us as long we will be totally thrilled. Sleeping like a baby in this new bed.

It took a couple of weeks to get ourselves used to the new mattress, but now that we are it's wonderful. My knee and back are not sore when I wake up. My wife's back is better as well. Well worth the price!
