It offers exceptional support and comfort yet still maintain firmer feel. I feel like I'm sleeping in a luxury hotel with this mattress. We were told this mattress was 3 degrees cooler than the others. Well I don't think so! I have sweated more with this mattress than I have with any other. I do love the adjusting base however can't get comfortable yet we have had it for 1 week now and I haven't found my spot yet! But I'm very disappointed in the cooling function.

I was so anxious to try this new mattress. I've had bad luck with mattresses in the past because I'm such a HOT sleeper. My husband calls me a personal space heater. We also like to snuggle when possible but our old mattress made that difficult because we'd just get too hot. This one sleeps SO COOL! I don't get hot in the middle of the night and to me, that's worth a million dollars. Heck, we even were able to sleep ok flannel sheets (our fav) this winter. We are having the best nights sleep in many years. Even though we purchased the "soft", there is plenty of support and firmness for our tastes. I believe the combination of the mattress and the Ergo Plus base attributes to this. Adjusting the base to the "zero gravity" position allows us to sleep on our backs for the first time in years. We are waking up more refreshed and well rested, even if we may decide to sleep in a little longer. Once we got over the sticker shock of what mattresses cost these day, we feel it was well the the investment in a great nights sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and now a Herniated Disc in my back. I have wanted this bed for 10 years and this year I finally bought it. It was everything I expected and more. I wish I would have purchased it earlier. In a few weeks my back is already feeling much better and my arms don't ache as bad at night. My whole body feels a lot lighter and more supported on this bed. My cats also love it, you should see the faces they make and the positions they fall asleep in, they definitely feel the heaven just like I can.

My husband and I both had such backaches waking up from our old mattress that we could barely walk when we got out of bed. Since getting the Tempurpedic mattress, neither of us suffer from backaches any longer. We sleep more soundly and wake more rested too.

Purchased our Temper-Lux Adapt in Firm, from the local mattress store we had purchased a knockoff brand from 8 years earlier. They were extremely helpful with our decision to purchase a Temperapedic Mattress. We love our new Tempur-Lux Adapt. With the new cooling technology, and layers of foam, it sleeps like a dream. After 2 months of sleeping on our new mattress. We don't wake up during the night hot, and we get up rested and refreshed after a relaxing night of sleep.

I use to wake up at least 20 times a night and because of that starting taking sleep aides to help (but even then I still woke up a number of times). This new mattress changed my life!! Yes, I still wake up a couple times during the night, but that isn't because I am in pain or uncomfortable. Most comfortable bed of my entire life!!!

The Temper-LuxeAdapt is in a class of it's own. If you like the feel of memory foam and you want the most comfortable memory foam bed on the planet you have found it. I am having more dreams (which tells me I'm getting deeper sleep) and there is no problem with heat in a 72 degree room. Haven't woken up once.
