Ever since I got this mattress, I've been experiencing breathing problems. I never associated it to the Mattress until I seen the Mattress tag contained fiberglass. I've been going to the pulmonary doctor since I bought this mattress. I didn't know it contain this and I think that people should know that these mattresses contain glass fibers which can be harmful for your breathing. Please google how harmful it is before you purchase any of these mattresses.

We previously owned a TempurPedic (queen/firm) for 14 years-I am on the heavy side (275 pounds) and my side of the mattress developed a pocket several years ago so we decided to get another mattress. Contrary to my ideals, we succumbed to the sales lady to purchase the medium hybrid which she said would be cooler but not as firm--I don't think so-I feel hot all the time and it's too soft for me. I don't think the pillows purchased at the same time are any "cooler" than what we had either. I feel I'm going to roll off the edge of the bed all the time. My wife thinks what we have is OK (she likes the head lift too which I don't). Bottom line, I liked my firm mattress much better than this one!!

I was looking for a good firm mattress to help with lower back pain. I went to my local reatleir in hopes of finding that perfect match, The salesperson at the store sold me on the Luxe Frim as the top of the line. Now the fun begins!!! I have not sleep since owning the Luxe I am waking up with not only back pain now I now have Neck, Sholder and leg pain as well. This mattress does not live up to the expations that I was sold that night. I'm working on getting this "Great Mattress" picked up but having trouble with the store but that's a whole nother review. I'm sure temper has a awesome line of mattress but I'm honestly disappointed with the Luxe Firm. I will close with this, if you are thinking about a good mattress for you back you may want to stay away for this model you may want to stick to a good old fashion pillow top.

I wish I had bought one years ago .I had another well known name brand bed that had everything this one has and it was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever had. I will never buy anything but a Tempur pedic bed again. I have major back problems and can finally sleep. My husband is also terminally Ill and this makes it much easier for him so he does not have to sleep in a recliner to be able to breath and sleep comfortably. Thank you.

Not one to write reviews but read several during my research of this mattresses and took them with a grain of salt. We have owned the original Tempur Pedic mattress (the one that came without different softness levels. You just ordered it by which size you wanted and I guess they just cut a slab of material). We had that mattress for years and after breaking it in from its rock hard state it became quite comfortable. As the years pasted (at least 15) I began to have problems with my shoulders as I sleep on my side. Finally decided to purchase a new mattress. My wife did not want to replace the one we had even though it was long over due as she said it was fine for her. We both had concerns that we may end up with an expensive mattress that was uncomfortable but my lack of sleep pushed me forward. I was about to purchase one of the existing Tempur mattress when a friend of mine told me wait a few weeks as they were releasing a new line. The Tempur Lux-Adapt. He said "Its a whole new animal". Taking his word i waited the 3-4 more weeks (guessed he should know as he was a manager at one of the local mattress stores) and said he tried them out at some show. When the beds arrived at our local furniture (didnt purchase the bed from my friend, sorry buddy) store they had the Lux-Adapt in firm and medium. Since our old Tempur mattress was firm and that was also what the Mrs liked I purchased that in a king size along with the Ergo-Extend base. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This mattress is prefect. I'll repeat what I read in other reviews that we really cant wait to get into bed. Its that comfortable. The Lux-Adapt in firm has just the right amout of compression. You conform to about 3-4 inches is my best guess and then you dont continue to sink further. I am six feet tall and weigh 175 pounds and my wife is small and weighs about 100-105 pounds. The bed is comfortable for both of us. she loves it and I constantly remind her that it was my idea! I am getting great REM sleep again after years of tossing and turning due to shoulder discomfort. Fantastic! The only down side some may find is that it sleeps a little warmer that our original tempur pedic. Probably due to the fact that it comforms better. The only other complaint I have is that I bought a second remote for the Ergo-Extend base only to find out you can only use one programmed remote at a time. This is something that needs to be resolved. A bed at this price point and size you should not have to be crawling to the other side to get the remote out from the bedside caddy. We have two TV remotes on each side of the bed just for this reason. Guess its some liability issue the attorneys told them about. Dont want the Mrs to ask you to get something from under the bed that she dropped only to have her lower it down on you! LOL. Seriously this is a software issue and can surely be fixed. Doing so will make the base more easily usable. Not everyone gets in bed at the same time and dont want to have to hunt for remotes. All and all only minor complaints. Literally loving the bed and the great comfortable sleep we're getting. So glad we made the change and glad I took my friends advice and waited for these new mattresses to arrive. If you are considering a memory foam mattress you have to try out a Tempur Pedic, yes they are costly but they last. Considering how much good night's sleep worth and the length of time we spend in bed annually it can be money well spent.

We had enjoyed a tempur pedic for 14 years and were so impressed with the comfort that we talked everyone with whom we visited to take a look at Tempur Pedic! We felt it was worth every penny. We thought it was time to replace the old one and purchased the Luxe Adapt Mattress and Sleeptrack base. It has been a horrible adjustment and we actually are thinking of looking at other mattresses. So sad we invested in the Tempur Pedic. I don't know if we were sold the wrong mattress or if it's been "upgraded". We got a firm, but you sink in so much when you're sleeping that it's difficult to roll over. They made a wonderful mattress I don't know why they changed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Tempurpedic product so I'm still getting used to it versus a coil mattress. It seems to be warmer than the coil mattress and I sleep very hot so I'm hoping that it's not an issue for me.

My husband is a back sleeper and likes his mattress on the firm side and I'm a side sleeper and like my mattress soft. This is the perfect mattress for both of us. It's so comfortable and my husband likes that he doesn't feel like he's in a sink hole. This is our 4th mattress in the last 9 months and I wish we would have saved ourselves months of discomfort and just got this mattress. We are so happy! Don't time like we did and get this mattress.

We have been pleased at how long they last and held up through moves, etc. We have watched as the mattresses have evolved and we decided on the Tempur-LuxeAdapt and we love it! A Lot! I'm sleeping cooler, we rest more completely and we are completely happy with our purchase. I have knee and back issues from a trip and I rest comfortably when I'm having flare ups. Yes, they are expensive. But for your sleep and health, it's good to invest in a good nights sleep. We will always use Tempurpedic products!! For life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We husband and I bought a king sized Tempur Luxe Adapt 5 weeks ago. This bed has changed my life! We noticed the difference after the first night we slept on it. I now have more energy and I feel rested. I used to wake up with neck pain and pain on my left side. On previous mattresses I woke up exhausted most mornings because I tossed and turned trying to get comfortable, my husband was also very restless due to his own pain issues. We also purchased an adjustable base with underbed lighting. This has been a life saver as my husband often gets up in the middle of the night. I would say that investing in this bed was the best decision we've ever made. We were hesitant to purchase because of the cost, but now wish we had purchased the mattress years ago. If you are hesitating - please don't wait, you'll be so glad you bought one.
