We made quite a few visits to Tempurpedic showrooms. I wanted a firm bed but this model feels softer than expected. It is called a "firm" but the Luxe Adapt has an extra layer on the top of the bed which makes it feel softer to me. When shopping for the mattress, I liked the feel of the Pro Adapt Firm. It does not have the extra layer on top and it costs less. Salespeople suggested the Pro Adapt Firm would be too firm for a side sleeper giving pressure to shoulders, hips and knees. So, I was swayed a bit by the salespeople and bought the Luxe Adapt. It's a good bed and we get a decent nights sleep. But, it just feels too soft. By the way, the delivery, installation and take of the old mattress was perfect.

My husband and I just upgraded our bed to the king size LuxeAdapt TempurPedic and we couldn't love it more! I was worried when it showed up about the mattress having no "bounce," but I quickly discovered that meant more comfortable sleeping. I love that now when my husband or I get up in the middle of the night, the other one doesn't feel it - and therefore doesn't wake up. It's incredibly comfortable and we're sleeping so wonderfully! We have noticed that because the mattress itself is so soft, our fitted sheet wrinkles a little by morning and needs to be retucked, but that's no big thing!!

I'm very pleased with my new mattress. I have an older Tempurpedic which I love, but I wanted to try a softer feel, so that's what I bought. I absolutely love the comfort of the softer mattress and the electronic bed frame with the Sleep tracker on it. It's high price is more than justified by the good sleep that I'm getting!

Fixn to retire and getting my must haves out of the way. Number 1 was a new Harley Road King. Number 2 was a new Tempurpedic. I have slept on tempupedics for 10 years and they just get better. This one is the best so far. Other mattresses in my world do not compete(In any way). Pricey but well worth it! Now for number 3.......

We purchased this bed and were very excited about it! It was definitely very firm the first month, but we waited for it to break in as recommended by Tempurpedic. Then, before the return window we went into store to ask about it and they said it takes 1-2 years to break in. We decided it keep the firm mattress and a year in it's still very hard. We've reached out to tempurpedic and they recommend turning up the thermostat (we are already in the recommended range) or buying a mattress topper, but the mattress is already 13in and sheets barely fit. Plus we spent a lot of money on this to purchase more accessories. Overall, I would say the mattress doesn't break in, so if it's too firm at the beginning for you, it's not going to change, and I feel the tempurpedic sales people were just trying to get us to buy the most expensive mattress and keep it vs one that worked for us.

Same unbelievable comfort; without getting hot at night. The support it provides is wonderful; and this is coming from a person who has severe back issues and arthritis. I received the TempurLUXE-Adapt Soft Queen size mattress for free in exchange for my honest feedback. First of all, let me start by saying how grateful and lucky I feel to be able to try out a mattress such as this one. I have always dreamed of one day owning one but could never quite afford it. Having poor blood circulation, RLS, and chronic lower back pain makes life hard, especially getting a good night's rest. I'm a firm believer that it is crucial to get enough sleep to function and live a healthy, active life. I always tossed and turned, and could never find a soft enough mattress to adapt to the high arch in my back and allow me to rest on my back for very long. My legs would go numb and throb to the point I would have to get up and walk around for awhile. This mattress truly came at a time in my life where I didn't even realize how much I needed this. The moment I first laid in it, I felt so much relief that I cannot even put into words. I had chills and truly felt like the weight had been lifted off of me. The way in which this mattress adapts and conforms to your body, is unlike any other. It fits like a glove. To be thoroughly honest, if you are like me and are desperate for something that will give you some much needed pressure relief after being on your feet all day, you will not be disappointed. I highly encourage you to invest in a mattress that will adapt to YOU! It is a decision you will wish you made alot sooner. I am forever grateful and soooo excited to get into bed every night!! We love our new mattress! My husband has a lot of physical pain and this is the first time in years that he actually said he was excited to go to bed. He never was able to actually sleep at night and this mattress has been allowing him to sleep through the night. This is encouraging and helpful on all our moods during the day! It was money well spent so far.

We purchased their Celebrity mattress 17 years ago and it was getting time to replace it. We replaced it with a Nectar mattress, but returned it after 2 months due to waking up every morning with excruciating back pain. We replaced the Nectar mattress with a Tempurpedic Adapt hybrid mattress and after 1 1/2 months it just didn't do anything for us. It wasn't uncomfortable, but we missed that sink in feeling we've known for 17 years. I loved going to bed every night on the Celebrity mattress. After speaking with customer service, they said the Luxe Adapt Firm would be more similar to the Celebrity so they offered a free exchange and we paid the difference. The Luxe Adapt is a very comfortable and I "almost" look forward to going to bed every night. It does have some of that sink in feeling, but nothing like the Celebrity. I think if there was a pillow top on the Luxe Adapt, it would have that same exact feel, but I'm not ready to take the risk since the pillow tops are not returnable. Is it worth over $4000? I guess so. We paid $5000 for our king size Celebrity 17 years ago so I guess this is a bargain :) Overall, we like it a lot and glad we paid the extra $1000 over the Adapt. One thing to note is it does appear to be smaller than other king size mattresses we've owned because it doesn't fill out the entire king size bed frame. Our Nectar and Adapt king mattresses fit the frame fine, but the Luxe Adapt leaves about 1"-2" all around the frame.
