My husband and I were both experiencing back problems from our over 10 year old pillow top. We decided to try Tempur-pedic because we had slept on one while visiting friends and really liked the comfort. From the very first night on our new mattress, our back aches were relieved. My husband is a big man and I am a small petite woman and it adjust to both of us like it was custom-made for us. We both highly recommend the Tempur-pedic.

Bought this bed with high hopes, unfortunately after sleeping on it for 5 months I absolutely hate it. I wake up every morning and feel like I was punched all over. I had some back pain a year ago that finally went away, after sleeping on this bed at first all the pain came back and had to start physical therapy again. I hate this mattress.

This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life! It used to take me forever to fall asleep and I would toss and turn throughout the night, often waking up throughout the night. I also used to suffer from shoulder pain (but I thought it was me maybe not wearing proper shoes or carrying to ​many things in my bag) After I was gifted the ProAdapt Mattress system from Tempur-Pedic, I fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and my shoulder pain was gone after only a fe​​​w weeks.

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.

This is hands down the most incredible mattress I've ever slept on. It's fantastic for both side sleepers and back sleepers. The mattress is firm/supportive for your spine, however, the memory foam ensures that the surface is soft. It's definitely worth the price!

We have had a Tempur-Pedic Mattress for 20 years in the Master Bedroom and loved it. In fact liked it so much we got one for the MotorHome 15 years ago. It was time to get a new mattress as we had pushed the first one to the limit and it was still performing fairly well. But the new Tempur-ProAdapt Firm is wonderful! Nice night sleeping and feel refreshed on awakening. Even with Twin XL mattresses on the king base, they stay where they belong and do not walk or part. One thing I do not like is at our age it is a heavy mattress for us to lift to change the bedding but we are handling it.

First impression upon lying down was that it was too firm, but almost immediately we realized it was extremely comfortable. We've owned this now for 3 weeks and we have never slept better. No more backaches or shoulder aches and it is easy to get out of bed in the morning. Couldn't be happier.

Absolutely NOT for senior citizens, extremely difficult to change the sheets since this mattress is very heavy (queen size). I regret immensely buying it but after spending over $3000 I am stuck for life. 1st time putting a sheet on by trying to lift one side, something snapped in my shoulder & I have not recovered yet from this injury. I wish I could return it & recoup some of my money but I know it's not possible so unfortunately for me, I'll have to straggle with it for the rest of my life (I'm in my late 70's). Sorry Tempur-Pedic, I DO NOT RECOMMEND your mattress, this model or any other Tempur-Pedic model as well especially for older adults. For many years I had Sleep Number bed in king size (2 X twin) but after my husband passing, I moved & downsized so I bought this queen size mattress. I wish I could go back to the Sleep Number mattress & get rid of the Tempur-Pedic one but I can't afford to do just that.

Greatest dang mattress I've EVER owned. I'm a 54 year old man 8n great shape compared to my friends. I didn't need some crazy bed because my back ached or something.. It was Just Time for a new bed. I went with this memory foam as opposed to the standard springs.. Best thing I ever did. I'll NEVER go back. Best night's sleep you'll ever have. I like a firm mattress and this was perfect. Some peeps complain like it's too firm or something.. It's NOT.
