This whole thing started where my wife and I wanted to upgrade to a king-size mattress and developed back problems over the years. We have two younger kids, so ever minute asleep is needed. We tried two Purple mattresses, and found them to be really stiff after the first few inches of support. This is not good for side sleepers. For side sleepers (especially larger builds), you need to go with Soft to allow for the hips to sink in the mattress, but also be supported. Its the best mattress I've slept on. After struggling for months waking up sore everyday, this mattress worked. The only negative, is that the white-glove delivery did take longer than if it was shipped directly, but saved my back for lugging this up a flight of stairs. Solid trade off.

I bought the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid as a warranty replacement for my old 2007 Deluxe mattress. The Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid is MUCH better, although I think I could have gone with the regular Pro Adapt Medium. The hybrid has a slightly softer feel despite the fact it is also a medium. I thought the regular Pro Adapt medium was too firm when trying beds, but now that I've had the hybrid, maybe the regular medium would have been better. Maybe not. I'm 115 lbs, 5' 1 1/2", back sleeper with back and hip pain. I sleep pretty well on the new bed. The old Deluxe was 10" thick, which I preferred. The PA Hybrid is 12". I wish it wasn't so thick since I'm short. FYI, sitting on the edge of the hybrid is fine. I found I tended to slide off the edge of the regular Pro Adapt Medium. Another reason I went with the hybrid. Overall pleased, but with it wasn't such a thick mattress.

When I wake up in the morning my lower back is half way block and I need few minutes to be able to walk normally. But since I'm sleeping on the Tempur-ProAdapt, I don't wake up with lower back pain anymore. Great pressure relies mattress.

I originally bought a Sealy Posturepedic - but quickly returned it and upgraded to the Temper-Pro Adapt, Medium Hybrid. That was the best thing I've done in a long time! This is an amazing bed - and I recommend it to everyone who asks... A+++ Superior quality and craftsmanship - hands down the best bed on the market.

Not as great as everyone says it is. I was very excited for the cooling feature because I sweat a lot at night and after the first night with this mattress, I've never sweated more in my life. And it's been multiple night, still have yet to notice the cooling feature. Very disappointed that this is non existent..:

I like the feel of the mattress and its support. I have the Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid California King. Before purchasing I read comments regarding "sleeping hot" but I did not take them seriously. If you purchase this mattress I believe that you will feel the hotness as I am awaken by it numerous times during the night. Again, it a good mattress with a wonderful feel to its sleeping surface but it is the "hotness" that ruins it for me. I recommend this product but with the aforementioned provisos. Pretty unhappy now and I don't know what to do.

Our previous queen mattress was also a Tempurpedic and we had that one for seventeen years. We can't say enough about the level of comfort the Tempurpedic provides. Shortly after purchasing the Queen Mattress, we also purchased a Supreme Medium Topper for our guest futon since we want our guests to be as comfortable as we are.

Both my husband and I were experiencing regular back pain with our previous mattress. That pain has been eliminated since the first night with the Tempur-ProAdapt Hybrid. Our previous mattress was a Beauty Rest Black Ice Hybrid model that was comparatively priced (during a sale) and initially felt comfortable enough for us. During the first year I began to experience growing discomfort and at times pain in my hip and leg. Being 60 years old I thought it was my arthritis and began to look at ways to "live" with this mattress. I purchased mattress toppers and found one that worked well (My Pillow) but began to notice a slight sag in the sides of the mattress. I began a warranty claim and received 100% credit for my 4 year old mattress. I did my research (again) and came back to what should have been my first choice all along the Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. From the first night my wife and I fell asleep quickly and soundly enjoying a deep restful sleep. While I cannot make medical claims about the benefits from this mattress I can state that my hip and leg pains have been greatly reduce. Overall we are enjoying the best nights sleep that we have had in a while, it is worth the premium price for the quality and I don't think I can put a value on the sleep quality.

I bought the split king and I have been very pleased with it. These are the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. I have back problems and my husband has sinus problems and we adjust our beds appropriately and have had no problem since we purchased these. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
