We shopped for MONTHS! We had always had spring mattresses and had always wanted to try a foam mattress. So...we went to every box store around to try EVERY mattress available in the Tempurpedic line several times, along with other name brands, to find the PERFECT mattress we could AGREE to purchase. And of course, the first mattress - Luxe Adapt Soft - was so comfortable in the store but way too soft after a night's sleep. Hubby is 300# and I'm 135# and we BOTH sunk into holes making it tough to move around = not comfortable. We then went with the Luxe Adapt Firm - just amazing! It is NOT too hard, it is PERFECT! The Luxe part is sort of like a Pillowtop on top of a firm but comfortable, supportive mattress. There's a little indent in the mattress that gives you that comfortable feeling and still allows you to adjust position easily. So happy with our final purchase! Thanks!!

Although I'm only 25, I'm a registered nurse and I work long hours. I never thought much about our bed quality, until my neck and back started hurting. I couldn't even turn my head properly because of the pain. My first fix was to get a different pillow, it helped somewhat, but didn't solve my problem. I chose the firm and love it. The was initially worried that I should have got the soft but after a few nights I was sure I made the right choice. It definitely helped my back and neck pain. This mattress is not cheap but I'm happy with it and hope it lasts a long time!

My fiancé and I have been sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic Luxe Adapt for a couple months now and I can honestly say it is a complete game-changer for our sleep quality. I tend to be a restless sleeper and he gets up earlier for work than I do, so we used to constantly disturb each other's sleep. Not anymore thanks to this mattress. We both sleep better, longer and I now get woken up with a goodbye kiss instead of him getting out of bed! Can't recommend enough!

I was so anxious to try this new mattress. I've had bad luck with mattresses in the past because I'm such a HOT sleeper. My husband calls me a personal space heater. We also like to snuggle when possible but our old mattress made that difficult because we'd just get too hot. This one sleeps SO COOL! I don't get hot in the middle of the night and to me, that's worth a million dollars. Heck, we even were able to sleep ok flannel sheets (our fav) this winter. After switching to this mattress I already feel like a new human! I was a little nervous about the firmness but it really molds to my body easily. I move around quite a bit and it will only take a few seconds to readjust to my new position and hug my body perfectly. I no longer wake up with hip or back pain & I also feel like I am more rested even when I don't actually sleep a full night sleep. I feel like I've been dreaming more which means I'm spending more time in the restorative REM cycle sleep. Amazing a mattress can do all that and this new mom is very happy!

I have always been told to sleep on a firm mattress by doctors and chiropractors, but with my progressive Osteoarthritis it became painful to sleep at night. I decided to purchase a soft Tempur-Pedic, and I am loving it! I have restful sleeps, and the only joint pain I experience is from oversleeping when I don't want to leave my luxurious bed in the morning, LOL. My Tempur-Pedic is beautifully made and even though is soft, is very supportive and gentle on my shoulders and hips. I am very satisfied with my purchase and strongly recommend this bed.

I'm a side sleeper, I was experiencing hip pain on our older Tempurpedic mattress. Thinking due to it's age, it was time for a new bed. I really wanted to try a complete different type of mattress, but my husband is real happy with Tempurpedic. So, to compromise I agreed to get the Tempur-LuxeAdapt Soft. We've had it now for over a month & I'm finding it's not much different than our original, in fact my legs are hurting off & on now while trying to sleep on this bed. I'm fine all day with my hip & legs, it just seems the bed isn't for my body.
