Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. I purchased the Medium Hybrid for a second home. It is the best mattress I have ever slept on. I am comfortable in any position I sleep in. I actually look forward to going to bed. No more hip pain from sleeping on my side. I am now going to purchase a TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for my home because when I left, I missed it so much!!

This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. Our new mattress is wonderful! I love that I am not affected by my husband's movement during the night. The temperature is always comfortable and I don't get overheated like I did with our old mattress. I sleep through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and not achy!

I didn't think we could ever replace this very old mattress because it was SO PERFECT! It was also completely worn out after about 25 years or so. Well, we got the ProAdapt firm and it is just like our old one. I was just thrilled. Completely happy. Our clerk was extremely helpful in listening to my story about trying to find another Tempurpedic mattress like our original. She just pointed it out and said that was it. And it was! If you want a firm mattress, this is the one! We got free delivery in 2 days and interest-free financing for 5 years. I ordered new pillows and can't wait for them to come in! Thank you, Lisa!

When I first bought this mattress I didn't know what to think as I have never owned or slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress before. Our previous mattress was over 11 years old and was an excellent mattress (Lady Americana). We loved it but of course at 11 years it wasn't as comfortable as before. My wife and I went to a local retailer and tested out multiple Temper-Pedic mattresses and decided on the Pro Adapt Hybrid (Queen) as I am 6'2 and 225 lbs. We also purchased an adjustable ERGO base. This has the Zero G function that relives a lot fo pressure from my wife's back as she has back pain due to an accident and major surgery. The first 3-4 months was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. The reason seems to be that the mattress was actually correcting my sleeping position and this caused my lower back to hurt for about 2-3 months intermittently. After that period I sleep like the dead on our mattress, LOL. I will say that sleeping on my back is a little tricky and this mattress doesn't quite support my lower back as much as my old mattress, but I fall asleep on my side and that does the trick. If you are looking for a mattress to sleep on your back and you are over 200lbs, I would recommend the Lux Adapt (Firm), if you can afford it. Its pretty pricey. I have only had the mattress for just under a year so this review is based on that time frame. So far, so good. I would like to give it a few more years and see how well it holds up. Overall it seems like a good purchase and if you can afford it, this mattress seems like a solid purchase, but only time will tell.

My room gets extremely hot and I feel like it's a very cooling mattress. The quality is outstanding and it feels extremely well made, definitely worth the price and feels like it will last for years and years. Will be buying for our other bedrooms in the house as well.

Bought a split king in two different firmnesses recommended by the sleep specialist. After 90 days of terrible sleep ended up swapping to a standard king or medium hybrid pro adapt and have never slept worse in my life. After almost a year now of "breaking in" it's gotten worse. Only in our 30's and now have more back and hip pain than I ever imagined. Don't sleep, tossing turning, neck back and hip pain. Absolutely terrible. Spent all the money on all the hype just to be in shock at how terrible it sleeps. Should've gone with my other options of other brands. Would not recommend

We purchased the King split ProAdapt soft mattresses, and we are extremely pleased! They are a great combination of support, without being overly stiff or firm and cozy soft, without sagging under you. This truly is the most cozy bed ever. We both sleep more soundly and wake up without the aches and pain we had with our previous mattress. Highly recommended and worth every penny.
