Ok people, I'm 22 years old. I've slept in three beds in my entire life. Obviously started out in a crib, moved to a twin and slept on that same mattress until about 19. Moved in with my fiance and sleeping in a king mattress until May 11th 2020 when our Split King Pro-Adapt mattresses finally arrived! We both got to the point where we were having a lot of problems in our old mattress. He has sciatic nerve issues occasionally and is always tossing and turning. I am a very light sleeper and was barely sleeping the last 3 weeks before our new mattress was delivered. The nerves in my lower legs also seem to go crazy when I am laying down so any type of movement from my fiance makes it that much more stressful especially when he thinks he has to launch hmself in and out of bed in the middle of the night lol. It was miserable! We decided to get a firm split king because of our different needs though we both wanted a firm mattress and I had read previous reviews where some people no longer felt their partner move around so that really made me want a split king. We decided to pair it with the Ergo adjustable base (Separate review.. life changing) and it took over a month to get everything delivered but finally low and behold we are sleeping better! Love me a firm mattress! Our old one just felt too soft and I couldn't seem to find a position where my body truley felt relaxed. I barely feel him moving around and the nerves in my legs have calmed down so much I would assume due to now I sleep wih the bottom end of the mattress lifted (Thanks Ergo base)! I have been sleeping better though still having some issues on night where I just can't sleep. I am getting ready to buy some new pillows from here that I think will work with the mattress and base and completely fix all of my problems! If you get a firm, once you set it up, it will feel really hard but don't be alarmed! That will change when it warms up to the temp of the room. When we set it up and sat on it, we looked at each other like uhhhhhhh this is like laying on cement and we were hoping we didn't just make a giant mistake lol but nope it was perfect once it warmed up! Only thing that kind of sucks is that I read you shouldn't use heated blankets on the mattress. I have been using a heated blanket the passed 2 years since my feet can't ever get warm. They are always freezing cold at night and would cramp up in the middle of the night so I'm having a lot more cramping now but it's a small price to pay. I think I just need a better comforter. Overall, I love this mattress and am trying to convince my parents they should get one too! Was well worth the money! You spend a big portion of your life in bed. Might as well be comfy! All of my future bed products will now be purchased through Tempur-Pedic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially got the medium firmness and was able to exchange the mattress for the soft firmness during the "trial period" for a $175 fee, of course. Medium was just a little too firm for us. Customer service was great and accommodating. The mattress itself is amazing. My wife and I are shift workers and have always had trouble with getting a good night sleep. Now that is a thing of the past. When we're home and sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic we finally sleep all the way through the night. It's spectacular

We purchased the pro adapt hybrid mattress for my husbands painful back but the bed not only helped his back it made a huge difference for my neck. I've had neck surgery and just lived with stiffness and pain. After sleeping on this bed for a week or so , I noticed that my neck and shoulders were relaxed with much less pain! We will never change to a different type bed now!

Now, I'm really glad I made this kind of investment on my personal health. I work in the medical field and I know all about taking care of your back, and what happens when you don't.

This is my second tempur-pedic mattress. I have to be honest and say I hated this new mattress the first couple of weeks of use. It was nothing like my previous mattress but I held strong and now, after 90 days and finding the right pillow loft, I am sleeping like a baby.

I never knew sleeping can be this good. With this mattress i sleep fast peacefully and when i wake up i feel refreshed after a comfortable amazing sleep. Also its a therapy for back issues. Me and my husband both have bak issues and now its improving. I love this mattress

I have gone through 4 mattresses in 4 years. They were either poorly built, too soft or too firm causing back aches or sore presser points. I have both hips replaced and one knee. I purchased the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 7 weeks ago. This mattress is awesome! It is supportive without being hard. You feel yourself being cuddled without sinking into it. It is easy to move around in. I normally sleep hot but with their cooling technology I'm cool and comfortable all night. It used to take me quite a while to fall asleep, Not now, I fall asleep right away. I used to toss and turn through the night, now I can fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night waking up in the same position. I'm both a side and back sleeper and this mattress is great in either position. I can't say enough about this mattress. It cost more than my other mattresses but it is well worth it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. I look forward to going to bed and sometimes go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I have the adjustable frame which makes it even more awesome. Thank you tempur pedic for the perfect bed for me.

Very happy with the way the mattress sleeps. Only complaint is its so comfortable and with no cording on the edge I sometimes wake up feeling like I'm sliding out of the bed. But, still love it and it's a huge improvement for my husband who suffers with a bad back.

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.
