[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically like firm mattresses but ithis was too firm. I'm a side sleeper and it actually hurt my shoulder and arm because of the firmness. I returned it for pro adapt medium hybrid and I love it.

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid King Mattress for about two weeks now. I also got the Ergo Extend Adjustable Bass. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I finally get a good nights sleep. I also suffer from acid reflux and often wake up during the middle of the night with it. That hasn't happened since I got my new bed. Having the adjustable base has really made a difference. I was worried that the mattress would sleep warm due to the foam, but that hasn't been an issue. The only negative thing I'd have to say is in regards to the base. Not a big issue but the included USB Ports are located underneath the base and aren't super easy to get to. I've seen other bases where they are on the side and that would make more sense to me. Overall I'm very happy. Yes the bed/base is expensive but in my opinion well worth the money. I'm wishing I would have bought it sooner!

My husband and I purchased a Tempurpedic Mattress and box springs 9+ years ago. Recently we started having problems with the mattress sagging. I called the company and they couldn't have been better! Their service was extraordinary! They far exceeded my expectations! Everything they said and did was perfect! I am so excited to have found truly great service in today's world! Tempurpedic you are wonderful!!! Our new mattress is so nice and comfortable! Thank you!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sleep very steady. You can hardly see I have been in the bed in the morning as I have not been moving at all. So it is very important the mattress support my body perfect. The Pro Adapt do this almost allways.

Purchased the ProAdapt Firm king mattress ~1.5 years ago and is already in need of replacement, not comfy, indentations where we both lay, overall dissatisfied especially considering the price point. I should mention we also purchased the corresponding foundation, so the mattress is properly supported. Missed the window to return unfortunately, and instead was talked into a bed topper which did not help the situation either. The only positive is the "motion cancellation" I can't feel my spouse tossing and turning. We loved our 1st Tempur-Pedic, sorry to say we cannot say the same for the ProAdapt Firm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you for the complimentary mattress! I have been using this mattress since I received it, and must say, my back aches are completely gone. This was the first time trying a tempur pedic mattress, so I was unsure about how my back would take to it, but it has been the best change. The mattress is firm enough to where you don't sink in, but soft enough to where it kind of molds to the body. It's amazing.

This is my second Tempurpedic mattress - the first one I had was a Queen size Tempur cloud, medium firmness, and I replaced it with this mattress after 10 years, because I wanted a King size bed. Upon first use - the Pro-Adapt seemed softer than my Cloud was, so i was skeptical and debating if a "firm" mattress would have been a better call. However, I had been starting to get sciatica on one side, and now that I've been sleeping on this mattress for about 5 weeks the sciatica is basically gone and I haven't made any other changes to my lifestyle. I can't tell if the hybrid mattress is more firm on the sides or not, I got the hybrid after reading reviews that say Hybrid mattresses last longer than mattresses that are all memory foam. Since these mattresses come with a hefty price tag I wanted to try and get as many years out of it as I can. Also important to note, the mattress itself is really heavy, which makes tucking sheets in under the sides a little challenging, and if you live alone (like I do), I wouldn't expect to be moving it around by yourself, like if you were changing bed frames or furniture. All that said, I really like this mattress - the white glove delivery service was great, the new style of zip off mattress cover is much easier to taken off/put on than the old style, and this mattress doesn't keep me as hot as my cloud did, presumably from the cooling cover.

Our base showed up with a tear in the fabric from shipping, they sent out a replacement right away.

We love the Pro Adapt, Firm, only having it for 3 weeks so far. We don't wake up with any aches & pain and don't wake each other up if we get up during the night. It's higher than what we replaced but makes us feel like little kids cause our feet don't touch the ground (I'm 5'7" & my husband is 6'). Just love this bed & highly recommend it, especially if you like hard beds.
