We love our King ProAdapt Firm. We had a Classic Deluxe and needed to replace. We knew the new mattress would feel extremely firm at first but softens up after sleeping on it. Worth not having backaches. The ProAdapt is taller than our older model so being 5'3", I have to have a step stool to get onto the bed. Minor problem for the comfort. We also have Tempur-Pedic mattresses in our guest rooms.

While I understand that this brand is supposed to be the #1 seller, this bed is uncomfortable for my spouse and I. Having had 4 back surgeries and expecting at least 2 more in the future, we expected better results for his pressure points and cooling from the bed. He sleeps hotter now and can only lay in bed for a max of 3 hours. Not worth the 4K I have spent.

The ProAdapt Soft is a great mattress for side sleepers. It offers soft compliance yet enough support that I remain comfortable all night. The cooling technology also works great. I combined this mattress with an adjustable bed frame and now have the best sleep "system" that I ever had! Highly recommend you consider this mattress!

So a couple of things to keep in mind, the mattress takes a while to break in and can sleep warmer than other mattresses. With this in mind, choose appropriate bedding, my wife, and I use cooling sheets and blankets as anyone might in the summertime. After the bed breaks in, it does hug your curves and supports you completely. I have had ours now for two months and feel amazing benefits, no back or neck pain, worth the investment. We have tried other companies that ship in a box, and this is just superior quality and manufacturing. One thing I would like to note is they do have the top cooling layer to their bed with the tight-knit material, but you don't notice when sheets are on, unless you sleep directly on, which I know most would not do as it may void a warranty from stains. I wish Tempurpedic would offer the same quality of knitting for the bed as a sheet or blanket set. Pro is the comfort you will obtain, its truly unlike any other bed and it shows how they made memory foam their own. A con, it's relatively expensive, but its made in the USA and they employ US workers, this means a lot to my family. I suggest this bed for anyone with back pain or special conditions. Perhaps another suggestion I could make is most other companies will offer a full money back warranty with no restocking fees and an extended trial period, Tempurpedic is more conservative compared to others, but, they most likely incur more costs than the others do. Excellent mattress, try it out at a store first before buying, as there are many models. Its all about the right feel for you and your body type/preferences. Great bed, sleeping well! This bed is so comfortable, we don't want to get out of it. We sleep so sound and cozy. No more sleep aids for me, love our new bed! We love our split Cal King, it works wonders for our bad backs, love adjusting it to comfortable positions. I could go on and on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so lucky to own two of these. We own a queen size and king size Tempur-Pro Adapt. We also own the pillows. They are all Firm. My husband suffers with a bad back. This is the only mattress he can get a good nights sleep on. Myself, I really enjoy the pillows too. I had neck pain and when we started sleeping on the Tempur pillows that seemed to really eliminate the pain.I would love to be able to put one of these in our guest room. We have a lot of company and I am sure they would enjoy sleeping on a Tempur mattres and possibly go home and purchase one.

I'm very happy with this mattress and I slept good on this Temper ProAdapt Soft mattress. This is recommended mattress for the side sleepers after I did the mattress questionnaire. Only bad thing about it is that the frame has huge staple shape metal frame that hold the mattress at the foot end where I lean on to put on socks or pant. It was so uncomfortable to lean on the foot end of the bed. So now I lean on near the corner instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have slept on the Tempur pro adapt medium for 5 nights. I have never slept on a mattress like this before now. I had another brand that is basically springs and a little padding. The Tempur pro adapt forms around my body. It has the right amount of support but also the softness to be comfortable. It had been year's since I had slept through the night. Now I can say that I get a full 8 hours of sleep. My husband said its the most comfortable mattress he has ever owned. I go to bed before him and I don't even feel the movement from him getting into bed. I can actually feel a temperature difference in the new bed. It also comes with a washable cover. The only negative I have is the weight of the mattress. It definitely takes two people to move the mattress around but how often would you move a mattress around your room? Overall I am excited to have this mattress and I would recommend the Tempur pro adapt. Everyone should enjoy a restful nights sleep. We spend a good portion of our lives in bed. It should be comfortable. One more positive about this mattress. I use to have hip pain and I haven't experienced it since sleeping on this mattress. Take a chance and experience it for yourself.

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.

When the mattress was initially delivered, I felt we'd made a mistake going with the firm. The first 2 nights, I tossed and turned while my husband instantly slept better than ever. Over a period of about 2 weeks, the mattress soften just enough to mold to our bodies perfectly. We both love it!
