[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My back pain is GONE! I went with the Medium-Hybrid and it is fantastic. It's not everyday we think beds can change your life, this one has done it. Every aspect of my life has improved since my purchase.

So, we bought the twinxl split king. We have had the mattress now a month and its finally getting softer. It's been like sleeping on a ply-board. The first two weeks my back and joints hurt me bad when first getting up. The reclining adjustable base with LED light is nice to have at night. Love the vibrating base. Is it worth what we paid. Hard to say at this point.

Delivery was messed up twice with no regret for the impact it made on our lives. Limited communication to fix the issue; we were told we would get free pillows to make up for the difficulty, no communication since. When we reach out to Tempur-Pedic we were met with condescending responses and messages stating they couldn't find our order with our email despite sending screen shots of the purchase and exchanges with customer service. Despite the like or dislike of the bed we will never purchase from this company again. Customer service makes the difference and what we have received has been horrid

Ok, so, we kept our previous Serta Pillow top mattress for 20 years, rotating it twice a year, flipping it over, and top to bottom. It was old but it still felt good. We recently decided to get a new mattress and chose the TEMPUR-ProAdapt™ Medium Hybrid. All we can say is "WOW" ! We didn't realize how much mattress technology has advanced. We have been sleeping so much better than we were, if you have an older mattress then you owe it to yourself to check out the new mattresses, you won't believe the difference.

I have this mattress with the Tempur-Pedic Ergo and a Cool-Tech Mattress Cover on it and I have never felt better then I have ever felt, from just sleeping. There are times when I find myself not wanting to get out of bed. This bed has totally changed my body, and, my life. I now feel like I am sleeping on Cloud 9 every night.

So my ultimate heaven of a mattress has had a long back story. I started with the cloud - and I liked it ok (definitely is soft) but it was not supportive enough (I have back pain). I returned it online and then bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid from their Tysons Virginia store. It was excruciating to deal with their online support people and when the delivery company finally came (after a lot of back and forth with Tempur customer service) the company told me they have no documentation about needing to pick up the old mattress (after my confirming with the Tempur multiple times) but they were willing to take it away - after giving them an extra $40 on the side! So - the adapt hybrid helped my back but my shoulder started hurting, I wasn't wild about the bounce, but I would have kept it if it wasn't causing pain- I had it for a couple of weeks tried a topper (helped my shoulder but then my back would hurt). Because I had done a return to online and purchase in store, and my family knew of the bed difficulties, I was offered the additional money as a birthday present and bought the Pro-adapt Medium (which felt perfect when I tried it in the store). I started reading these reviews only after ordering and was terrified it would be too hard given all the reviews. But - it came at last yesterday, at first it was ok but a little firm (and very cold) - I sped up the softening by adding an electric blanket for a few hours. And I have to say this bed is THE BOMB. I'm on a tight budget, and I really think Sealy could easily perform some obvious belt tightening (their processes are necessarily cumbersome, outmoded and there seem to be countless people employed who are rather unhelpful (honestly clueless and useless and I don't say this lightly). But after all the frustration, and the insane amount of money they charge (plus the 2xs paying their obnoxious $175) I can say the Pro-Adapt Medium is worth it - it is truly a doughy oasis - no pain at all - perfect softness and yumminess, but also supportive.

I first chose the medium model of this mattress. After sleeping on it for a few months I discovered it was what was causing me to have a terrible ache back. The retail store would not switch it out as too much time had past. Tempur Pedic worked with me and replaced this model for the firm one. I am so grateful I now have the best mattress for my body. Obviously Tempur Pedic cares about customer satisfaction!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a bigger guy, I had always had trouble with mattresses and waking up with neck and back pain. I had bought inexpensive mattresses and they were too soft, or too firm, or had springs right in my ribs. I could not believe the difference the TempurPedic made. I was skeptical spending so much, but this could be the best purchase I've ever made.. seriously I sleep with no pain, and wake up refreshed and ready to go. I would encourage anyone to test out the style they like and make the investment.

After sleeping on my Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for a month, I can honestly say that I am very pleased. There was an adjustment period for my body, because I had been sleeping on a too soft mattress, and for the mattress to be broken in. I was suffering a lot of pain during the day from Sciatica, but even during the adjustment period, my new mattress was alleviating my pain, allowing me to sleep. I purchased the adjustable base, also, which I am enjoying, as it helps with back pain and other health challenges. As a 78 year old, I did a lot of research before I purchased, seeking comfort, cooling, and a good investment, and this mattress and adjustable base, as well as the two cooling TempurPedic pillows are just what I needed. I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the hunt for a new mattress when Tempur-Pedic sent me this one for free in exchange for an honest review. My husband and I both prefer a soft mattress and we were excited to give this one a shot. It did not disappoint! While it seemed fairly firm at first, it relaxed over a couple of days to become super cozy while still being supportive. (It also took a couple of days to lose the factory scent, but it was never too bad and I just left the window open the first day.) When you lie down, your body slowly sinks into the foam top until you are perfectly supported. I sleep on my stomach and my husband sleeps on his back and we are both feeling fresh in the mornings. We have been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks and we are pretty happy. My one gripe is that the top is very smooth and my sheets will occasionally slip right off over the corners, but it's not an issue I would deduct any stars for. Fresh sheets feel nice and crisp over the smooth surface. It's very warm out but the mattress seems to stay fairly cool. If you like a soft bed, give this one a shot!
