This bed was super firm, and so different than what we were used to in a traditional spring mattress. I went with firm bedside reviews say after a few years they soften a bit. This is like camping in a tent the first couple weeks. I'd say it really took 3-4 weeks to get used to. When you finally do get used to it, the sleep can't be beat. I slept so sound that first good night. I was skeptical and worried until that magical night about a month in. My husband acclimated more quickly around week two or three. I don't feel him get out of bed at 5am anymore! Another magical thing, I don't know how, but his insanely loud snoring is gone, and he rarely snores anymore at all! This bed is worth every penny for that reason alone!!

We got our new mattress several weeks ago. My back pain went away immediately. I have been sleeping 10 X better and not waking up multiple times a night any more. Worth all the money. We got pillows too and also love them. Overall, very happy with the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the firm mattress. I have enjoyed it's firmness and how the memory foam conforms to your body without sacrificing any of the firmness. I gave it 4 stars because the mattress is shorter in length than my previous mattress. My bed is also sitting lower but I plan to get risers to bring it up about 3in.

I was expecting it to help with my lower back pain and I was blown away when it pretty much got rid it altogether. It's the perfect amount of support and relief if you spend a lot of time sitting. I look forward to going to sleep every day and that's something I hadn't been able to do with my old mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is remarkably comfortable. And it's still, doesn't jostle when my partner gets in bed or shifts. We're still waking up quite sleepy but hopeful things will improve in the coming weeks.

We had a previous Temperpedic that lasted almost 20 years. We looked at other options, but decided to again go with a Temperpedic firm mattress, because of the great quality and long life. This new firm mattress is quite firm, with good support, which we like.

My husband wanted a firm mattress and we've had memory foam mattresses before. The Tempurpedic is VERY firm. Initially, it seems like it's TOO firm, but once you're in it, it feels great. We have only been able to sleep in the bed 7 nights since we bought it - LONG story. However, those 7 nights were wonderful! I must say that the "white glove experience" was no big deal. Two fellows delivered it and they were very pleasant, but I have no idea what the whoopteedoo was. It was delivered and put on the bed. Whoopteedoo.

It is very firm and yet molds to your body and you feel well rested after sleeping on it. I know all this Nasa research and engineering went into making this mattress, but all I really know is it provides the best sleep!

Due to my spine stenosis, initially I bought a hard mattress which worse my pain. After 30 days , choose between Medium and Soft, and I switched to a soft one and the difference is huge. Much more comfortable, seems you are sleeping almost floating . I think it will get even better. Glad I did buy a soft Temper-Pedic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bed is ok, works fine, almost too firm compared to what we tested in the stores. Delivery and customer service were awful. Delivery "forgot" to put our bed on the truck the first day with little apology, more like "oh-well, not our problem." After a conversation with them explaining the difficulty in being away from work as we are both directors in our respective companies, they promise to schedule delivery for the following week, later after 4pm. 5 days later my husband is pulled away from work at because they were on their way to deliver our bed, absolutely before 4, well before 4. To make it right they offered to send us 2 pillows. Fine, I was going to purchase new pillows anyways. Although it doesn't return the significant time away from work I don't have to shop for new pillows. This was the last correspondence from them 3 weeks ago, mid-September. Since then nothing, no emails, no pillows, and no answering the phone. I sent a follow up email from my email address, my name was used to purchase the bed but contact info was for my husband so he could coordinate things, quickly received a response telling me to go to the third party I purchased from. I purchased directly through the web site. I responded with this information and my husband's information and received a very rude and short response stating they couldn't find any record of my purchase with them so they couldn't help. I've finally sent the correspondence with my husband attached to my email. Let's see what happens. I suspect more of the same- nothing.
