Sam's Club invest in Pasture-raised eggs only

It's not the same quality—cage-free simply means the hens aren’t in cages, but they’re still crammed together inside a warehouse with little room to move. Pasture-raised eggs come from hens that truly roam free, enjoying open space and natural foraging. I can’t believe that in 2025, we still have to specifically ask for this.

Good Value, Good Eggs

These eggs are good. I miss the 3 doz. pack that Sam's used to carry. They are a good size and taste good. Even with the bird flu scare, the price was reasonable and to my surprise, they did go back down when eggs were more plentiful however...back up with bird flu but still a great value.

Beware. This product may be misbranded.

My wife and I often buy eggs at Sam's Club. I've notice in recent months that these eggs do not appear to be graded properly. The carton says they are USDA Grade A Large. The weight range for Large eggs is between 54.34 and 61.41 grams. As a professional baker, I know that properly graded Large eggs are consistently between about 55 and 60 grams. Many of the eggs in these cartons appear about the size of Medium eggs with some weighing less than 40 grams. I think this is a case of misbranding.

Will Never Buy Eggs From Sams Club Again

I purchased the eggs but didn't not place them into my egg keeper until the next day. When I went to do so, I was completely appalled. The first egg I went to remove had human feces on the bottom of it. Thank goodness I didn't touch it. I called Sam's Club Business number right away. The associate seemed more concerned with giving me refund and $5 gift certificate than how disgusting my experience actually was. I am so dismayed by the experience that I didn't use the refund. This makes me think that human feces being found on the eggs isn't a unique or isolated experience. To think, I could have touched it with my bare hands. I have been scarred from wanting to purchase eggs from Sam's Club again.
