A Tablespoon in my Coffee Became a Guilty Pleasure

A friend once put a bit if heavy cream in my coffee. I was hooked. Sadly, I left the Midwest not realizing that not all heavy cream is created equal. When we moved to Palm Desert, Member's Mark quickly became my favorite. WHO KNEW Sam's made such high-quality cream? It's smooth enough to drizzle over blueberries, and I don't use anything else but this cream in my quiches or frostings. Makes all the difference.

Good price and quality whipping cream

Thick good quality whippable cream at best price I can find around. We love using cream for ganache, oatmeal stir-ins and ice cream which makes it a staple in our home. I was very happy to find that Sam’s sold it at a better price than even Aldi and I do a lot of price comparisons. Happy with everything about the product.

We bought a carton on Thursday July 2nd for a recipe for the 4th of July. I went to pour the cream into a measuring cup, and it was barely dripping. I cut open the carton and half of it was butter. The product had stayed cold since we purchased it, but our whipped cream never set up.

Pretty good creamer for coffee, cooking, others!

The product is usually as expected, however we've had three containers in the past month that were curdled. We usually use 3-4 qts. per month. Prior to this recent experience we would give this a 5 of 5 star rating. I'm assuming it was a fluke and so only took away one star and continue to use this product.

Won’t be disappointed with this!

Good value for the amount and quality of this heavy cream. This isn’t top shelf cream like organic sweet cream but definitely a good product. A very good value per ounce and such a necessity in the kitchen. How do you make the best whipped cream? It starts with a good quality heavy whipping cream like this.

Best Quality Heavy Cream!

You're literally getting the best quality with most Member's Mark branded items. This Heavy Cream is no different. You're probably not going to find this any cheaper...and you're not going to find better quality. I would highly recommend this any time you're in need of heavy cream!

Shame on Sams Club remarking poison as Heavy Cream

This used to be a good product. Not anymore. A week ago, the entire lot of heavy whipping cream and several other items were stripped from the milk aisle. This week they are back, and they sneakily changed ingredients without notification - to a much more harmful formulation. Old: Cream and less than 0.5% of: Gellan Gum. Contains Milk. New: Cream, Carrageenan, Mono %26 DiGlycerides, Polysorbate 80. Price: remained the exact same Just ask any LLM what side effects these new ingredients have for people who have Irritable Bowel Syndrome or leaky gut or Autoimmune disorder. Is Walmart / Sam's club intentionally poisoning us? Polysorbate 80 can significantly thin the intestinal mucosal barrier. This makes the gut lining more permeable, potentially allowing bacteria and toxins to cross into the bloodstream. It also can leave trace impurities, such as Ethylene Oxide, a known human carcinogen. In animal models with a genetic predisposition to colorectal cancer or colitis, long-term exposure to Polysorbate 80 significantly accelerated and exacerbated the growth of intestinal tumors. Chronic inflammation essentially creates the "perfect environment" for cancer cells to thrive. Customers: read the labels. They do not care if you get sick off this stuff. Yeah, I will not be making butter with your Cream anymore and everything we bought will be going back for a refund.

Ditch the carrageenan

Why the carrageenan? I bought the MM heavy whipping cream about a month ago and there was no carrageenan (see attached). Went to pick up more this week and checked the label…..carrageenan. Why? It is a controversial ingredient. I try to avoid it when I can, but you flip-flop. Sometimes it has carrageenan, sometimes gellan gum. So, I can't just grab and go and get a consistent product.

Disappointed baker

Leaving 3 stars only becasue they recently downsized from 64 to 32oz. I'm a baker and I buy lots of my baking restock items from Sam's, including heavy cream. Recently I did a pickup order and I had bought heavy cream. I thought it was in sale bc of the price. It was late at night and I needed the order first thing in the morning becasue the order I needed it was for that later morning. When I get home I realize it was the same size as my local wal mart and HEB. 😭 I had to go to HEB and get another 32oz heavy cream because it wasn't enough. I will say it is still cheaper for a 32oz at Sam's tha wal mart or my HEB. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 64oz. A disappointed baker.

BRING BACK THE 64 OZ!

How can these still be 33 oz when they are so much smaller than the previous 32 oz containers? And why is Sam's (a big box store) no longer selling the 64 oz containers of heavy cream and half and half? BRING BACK THE 64 oz OPTIONS!! I was buying at least 6-8 of the 64 oz sizes a month but now I have to buy so many of these tiny ones to get what I need! I have started buying elsewhere because I hate having to deal with so many tiny containers!
