I have owned this generator for almost 2 years. It has been a good little unit to me. AC sine wave output is clean with minimal THD for the majority of the load range. It's operational sound (dB) is quiet compared to a typical open frame generator. Gen is easy to start within a few pulls. Let it warm up, treat it well, follow the recommended service intervals and this will last a long time.

I bought the igen2500 for camping in my truck camper. it has a slightly larger engine than most light inverter generators.it runs the small A/c easily I would have given it 5 stars if the left service panel attachment points weren't broken off and the carb drain hose was missing. If the parts dept.comes up with a service panel l will be very happy

Unlike other, more complicated generators, the iGen2500c was very easy to set up and start using. Be sure to follow the simple instructions carefully and you will have a quick and easy go of it! The unit works great too! Simple, light weight, perfect!

I did not! However after much deliberation between the usual red, yellow, and orange options I went blue. I liked the control panel features and the additional power over the 2200. I liked the ability to parallel two extremely portable generators and get almost 5000 watts of peak power. After all that the generator started on the first pull! Good sign.

I'm happy with the ability of the generator to power my 13,500 BTU RV A/C unit. The motor displacement on this unit is larger than most of the 2000-2300 watt generators. I believe that is why it is able to handle the A/C startup load with ease. It can sometimes be difficult to start but I've found that opening the fuel tank lid slightly seems to make it easier to start the generator and it usually only requires a few pulls to do so.

Took out of box, added oil and gas and started on third pull. Runs quieter that I thought it would. In a week, I go to Canada for fishing and I need a generator for camp and charging batteries on my boat. That will be the test, but it looks good now.

After receiving our unit I wanted to say it started on the very first pull! Quiet! So quiet you can carry on a conversation with someone right next to it! Just FYI, I had a major shoulder surgery 6 weeks previous and was worried this would take "Pull after Pull" to start! IT HAS STARTED ON THE FIRST PULL VERY TIME!

Great looking unit....Had issue of smell of melting plastic or rubber on initial start-up...I removed end panel at exhaust side and found a large rubber cap laying in the air intake used to cool the motor....i put the rubber cap in the end of the motor where it belonged...Don't know if any damage was caused by over-heating

Took the product out of the box and it smelled like gas it stunk. I opened up the gas cap and saw gas and dirt in the bottom of tank. I put a papertowel on the end of a dowel and wiped it out. Is this normal did any of you have the same thing? I have not ran it as of yet this summer will tell if I have problems. Overall it looked new

Wow, what a sweet piece of equipment. Added the oil (supplied) filled up the gas tank and one pull and it started. Varied the load and with the ECO function enabled it quieted right down with no load. And I just love the LED readout. Lets you know what load it's carrying, how long it will carry it, running time, fuel level and voltage. It's a very well designed piece of equipment.
