I purchased one late last year and used during the February 2021 Texas Freeze. The inverter is very efficient and has a efficiency mode that reduces engine noise and uses more poer as needed however I was not able to take advantage since my central heat would enable the the breaker. However, it performed flawlessly without using the efficient mode with a little more engine noise. It was able to run the central heat, TV, Internet, Roku, speakers using 27% power. I purchased a second one so that I can run the units in parallel however, I have not been able to purchase the parallel cable since they have been out of stock. At 48 power pounds, ease of use, and lasting 10+ hours with 1 gallon of gas it is worth the price and I would definitely recommend.

Received unit today and followed the user manual instructions concerning oil fill, fuel / stabilizer and starting instructions. Two pulls and it started and ran as it should. I purchased this for emergency loss of power situations and am confident it will serve us well.

Having researched similar generators, settled on this model because of 2200 running watts. Rated only 4 stars because it came with a broken spark plug, which according to multiple reviews was an issue. Set up was easy and it ran smoothly throughout a 5/6 hour break low to medium loads. So far so good!

So far shipping, timing, and initial try out have been what I'm looking for for easily putting on the van to use when power is needed. Tried out with one of our largest drills and supported the power so far with no load. Pretty confident it will handle working under a drilling load as well. The price for what you get makes it worth while.

Bought this 3 weeks ago and then had our power outage. Opened box, followed directions, added non-oxygenated gas, and started right up. Handled our two refrigerators easily and cell phones charged at same time. Will have to get more extension cords so can add more items to generator. Recommend this generator to everyone

Will run for up to 12 hours on minimal load (<400 watts). The digital display is very helpful, no more guesswork! Runs a little louder than my equivalent Honda, maybe the same decibels, but sounds a little rougher versus the Honda's hum. Took several pulls, but was able to start and run without problems at 5* f the other day. At about 30 hrs runtime and so far so good!

I purchased iGen2500 power inverter generator, as I needed occasional backup in case of power disruption in my area. Focus was on the quiet operation as well as enough power supply to run fridge and start the furnace, plus some additional lighting in the house. This seems to meet my requirements. I appreciate the extra wattage of 2,200 (most lower cost units offered 1,800 running power). The unit seems to be reasonably quiet, as long as there is no demand to full power (unit has the variable engine speed, as all the inverter generators). It is portable, not too heavy. Started in the first trial. I like the control display center panel, with information about the power output, remaining run time, etc. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and recommend the unit.

I live on the Olympic Peninsula, with Cascadia a major concern, so having this compact and portable generator available for more than adequate power usage is extremely reassuring! Another plus is the "Digital Data Center" that keeps track of usage time, making maintenance scheduling much easier!

I bought this in 2021 after the great Texas Snowtastrophe. Finally got it up and running in literally less than 10 minutes. So far so good. It's quieter than I thought it would be. And I REALLY like the digital display with all the useful info. Wish it had a slightly larger fuel tank though. Hope this helps!

I spent months looking for the right generator to add a collection of emergency preps.
