I opened up box and added oil that came with it and added some gas and it started on first pull. Very good product for the price you cant go wrong. I bought this based of the reviews i read and am very happy with it. I recommend this to anyone.

Being in hurricane prone state, we lose power often and I wanted a dependable generator to run my lights, computer and fridge without any hassles. I found it, with this generator. You can't go wrong with this one!

I added the provided 10-30w oil, put fuel in it, slowly pulled the pull cord a couple times. Gave it one good pull after that and it fired up perfectly. I also own a Honda EU1000i and this IGEN2500 is every bit just as quiet.

This generator packs a punch, and for a lightweight machine. It has the perfect W, just for that we need in our house. Our home has small and med size appliances; most of them are Energy Star. But this generator helps with everything that we need.

It's super quiet and very efficient in fuel consumption. I have using it running two large fridges, tv, lights, some fans and its digital meter marks 25% of load.

Compared to a Honda it is quiet but not as quiet and the motor is not as smooth running. But if you need a generator that produces pretty good power for the money then this is it.

So far , so good. I haven't had a chance to run my RV AC in parallel yet, but I did test the parallel mode and cable. I ran a toaster and it ran on 25% load. Only thing is that I wish they were a little bit quieter.

I would recommend the iGen 2500 to anyone to use for backup power to run small appliances during a power interruption. The iGen 2500 ran my full size refrigerator for 10.5 hours on one gallon of fuel. Very efficient.

Bought this for racing use, needed to heat Tire warmers. Consistently pulling over 2000 Watts for a few hours at a time. No issues to report after initial break-in it runs great!

After a lot of looking at other generators, I decided the IGen 2600 would work the best. 2200 running watts instead of 2000 is a good difference. Nice compact package and easy to carry. The only thing was several people had broken spark plugs when they received it, and mine also was broken as well as bent. I had already planned to have a spare on hand so after replacing the plug and adding a little Lucas Oil in the open cylinder, I added fuel and one pull it started. Sounds good, quiet and I like the data center. Changing the oil might be pain without a lower level plug, but not a deal breaker. I plan to add another one later to parallel and get 30 Amps for my trailer when off road camping to allow for AC.
