Great so far

Generator came a couple days ago. I added the oil and gas, started on the second pull. I used my rv for the break in period. Five hours later I shut it off. I would like to tell you more but that's all I ran it so far, but those 5 hours it ran great.

Easy Set Up and Quiet

This is a short term review regarding set up and initial start. All necessary materials come in the box, You get a screwdriver, a spark plug wrench, an oil funnel that screws nicely into the oil reservoir for a no spill event, and a bottle of 4 cycle oil for the first fill up. Gassed it up, two pulls with it on choke, and it started right up, then put it on run mode. All control panel features were operational. I let it run for 5 minutes to burn the new smell off which was not that much. I have not connected it yet to evaluate performance.

Great first impression

Bought this for camping and to be able to run a deep freeze incase of inclement weather. Then look, size, and weight are great for throwing in the truck to be able to recharge batteries while camping. The pull start is very smooth and easy so anyone can start it and it starts on the first pull every time!

Perfect RV and Cottage BackUp Generator

I bought this last week and so far so good. It arrived well packaged and in one piece. The break in process went smoothly and I was surprised just how quiet and powerful this little generator/inverter is. I'll update my review once we use it during our first boon-docking trip. Highly recommended so far.

Great little generator

We have a large shed with no electricity. I wired it for lights and a fan and bought this generator to power it. I can have it sitting outside the door and still have a normal conversation. It starts easily with a pull or two and purrs for hours. It has a little weight to it, but it's manageable. I also use it at home for power outages to run the upstairs fridge. I'm very happy with it.

Solid Generator for RV

I bought this for a month long summer RV trip. We wanted a single suitcase unit that start our AC. I didn't want to have to use 2 units, or buy a 100+ lb unit. The IGen2500 fits the bill. We installed an "Easystart" unit on our A/C and this unit cranks it just fine, with power left over to run several other items (other than a microwave). It starts on the first pull every time. I really like the dashboard readout, that tells you how much gas and run time you have remaining, and has an hour meter. I called customer service to inquire about high altitude jets for the carbuerator, and they were great, very helpful. The noise level is comparable to Honda. The tone/pitch is a little higher, which makes it a little more noticeable. But a low loads it purrs. At high loads and a 50ft extension cord, it is certainly noticeable, but not bothersome.

Strong/Quiet little generator

I bought this about a week ago along with a magnetic oil dipstick. Filled it with oil and ran for an hour then changed the oil as recommended. There was some super fine metal shavings on the dipstick and the oil was slightly discolored as to be expected with a new motor. This thing runs pretty quiet even under a load. I powered two worm drive Skill saws at the same time with power to spare. I plan to use mainly for general camping and at 50lbs it should suit the purpose quite nicely.

User friendly

Finally purchased this inverter after comparing with other brands and am very happy with the value received for the money I paid for it. It's user friendly and the accompanying manual explains everything from initial start up to a quick view assessment of power output vs load. Very happy with this generator/inverter.

Good size and great information monitoring

I bought this generator to give me the capability to run the RV air conditioner in a relatively lightweight unit without the requirement of a double unit with a parallel setup. I have tested the unit without a load and running at 25% load both in regular and Eco mode and found the operation and sound levels comparable to the other high end equipment I have used for years at a much more reasonable price. I especially like the the control panel readouts that keep me abreast of fuel level, voltage and the ongoing load situation. I haven't tried it on my RV AC unit yet but I don't anticipate any problems. My previous 2000 watt generator almost held in the past but the starting Amps killed it. This one with an additional 500 watt should work fine. Great product.

Very happy with purchase

Bought a week ago. Quality engineering and components from the automatic choke/start to the metal tank and housing. Even included a funnel for adding the oil so I didnt have to bother with finding one. Primary use is home backup connecting to a transfer switch and the 50A/208v port on the generator.
