Started this after I installed the High Altitude kit. I'm going to be using this well above 7,000' in elevation and am afraid to try it without the kit. It's very involved and requires a lot of disassembly to install. It shouldn't be this difficult to do.

I have a small travel trailer with an AC unit. To power this unit I needed a generator. I have to carry this generator in the back of my SUV so a gas powered generator would not work as I would have to carry the gas in my car. My trailer carries two propane tanks so I was delighted to find this dual power generator. Weight is a key issue as I have to be able to lift the generator up to load it into my car. I am a small 80 year old woman and I can handle the 42 lbs of this generator! It runs beautifully to power my AC using the ECO mode so I am really set for summer travel in hot climates. Love the freedom it is giving me.

I have a larger Westinghouse generator (IGen4500c) that has been awesome. I needed a smaller one for camping and immediately bought another Westinghouse (iGen2550c). The generators are easy to set up and operate. They are very quiet so I don't need to worry about the noise when camping. Great products!

We bought this after a short power outage and we had to bail out the sump pump by hand non stop for an hour to keep the basement from flooding. Today the power went out at 5:30 am, so we started the generator, ran sump pump, refrigerator and freezer until power came back on at 7:30 pm. We used propane since it was a dual fuel. It worked perfectly. Even used an electric fan all day. The unit is quiet, light weight and straight forward to set up.

bought today and have to say right out of the box is easy to set up. came with all the required items to set up with the oil, parallel cords, and funnel. Once all gas and oil was added start up was super easy in one pull fired right up. Have not gotten to use it on my RV yet, but I have no question it will work just fine for what I need.

I bought this to use in place of a larger unit I have. This unit has all of the features I need for setting up for our tailgate events. The units overall weight was a big factor along with the other features. I had the chance to use the unit for a full six hour run and the unit never skipped a beat. The only draw back is the fuel shut off feature and fuel cap on/off feature is not working properly. The unit still runs in the off position. The unit will shut off when turned to the full off position.

Just broke it in and hope to have many hours of use. My first one which was a iGen2500 and wanted this iGen 2550 is my second one for backup and has very similar features Time will tell but if it holds up anything like the first one I'll be a happy camper. Really like the easy access panel and digital readout.

Very impressed with the options that are standard on this model compared to units that cost much more and still do not have these options. LED lights on each side of the control panel so you can see what you are doing in the dark, not on any other inverter that I have seen. Easy access to perform maintenance unlike some of the more expensive suppliers. Having the digital read out so you can see how you are loading the unit, digital fuel gauge very nice, that most others do not have as well. Can't wait to get it out ice fishing to see how this unit works in the cold and snow. Great value and great features. And all for a very reasonable price.

Wow, what a nice little generator! I originally wanted to buy the champion, but glad I didn't. I followed the directions to start it. It was a super easy and started on the 3rd pull using propane. I am so surprised with how quiet this thing is . The led light was a great touch making it easier to see when plugging things in it in the dark. Hope it lasts a long time!

I purchased the 2550c for off grid camping at the beach. I found the inverter to be very accommodating and worked as expected. It starts on 2nd pull and sips gas. It will not run my 13500 RV A/C. And I am a little disappointed at that. I would recommend this product for camping. It's extremely quiet.
