The Michelin Defender 2 is an excellent upgrade for my 2018 Honda Civic EX-T. They offer great traction, smooth handling, and a quiet, comfortable ride. Wet and dry performance is impressive, and the ride feels more refined. With an 80,000-mile tread life, they seem durable and long-lasting. Overall, a solid choice for reliability and comfort.

I purchased my Michelin Defender 2 radials as replacements for my unacceptable OEM tires when we purchased our new 2024 Subaru Forester, insisting that the dealer replace those tires with the much-superior Defender 2s. It caused a bit of a stir but they went along with it and we couldn't have been happier since then. Between the Ice-X 3s that we roll with during the winter months, our Forester is "Michelin-covered" year-round and for many years to come!

A couple of weeks ago i was stopped, checked a couple of times to see if it was clear to go ready to pull out across traffic when someone came flying out of nowhere. As soon as I saw him I hit the brakes, and he hit his. Luckily I stopped within inches of his car, I can only say how lucky I was to have such great tires on my car along with good brakes. Such a nice smooth ride, love my Defenders.

Purchased 4 Defender 2 tires in the spring of 2023 for a 2020 Mazda CX5. Very satisfied with the tires. These are being used mostly for highway driving in the spring/summer and fall. I have another set of rims and tires for winter driving. They don't seem to have any wear and they are quiet on the highway. Handling is excellent, as I would expect from a Michelin tire. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone looking for new tires.

I’m a 58 year old man and I drive commercially about 100,000 miles a year between two half ton trucks and one 3500 one ton truck, Ram and Ford. I have tried many different tire manufacturers from Bridgestone, Toyo, BFG and Goodyear to name a few, I always seem to come back to Michelin Tires. I know many of you are going to say there too expensive but, when you drive the interstate system threw out the USA I want something quite and comfortable and dependable. I was very sorry to here that Michelin was phasing out this tire, I have currently on the Ram a set of defender M/S 2 which are louder at 75 mph by 15% and rougher riding by about 20% over the plain Defender M/S. I fully believe these are the best tires for driving the interstate system by far. Michelin needs to bring back this tire and increase the load range by 200lbs each to reach the manufacturer’s who suggest a rating of 118H on their trucks instead of the old 112T rating.

I replaced Goodyear tires on my wife’s Acura TLX with a set of Michelin Defender2’s. I also replaced the OE Firestone tires on my mother in law’s Jeep Compass with the Michelin Defender2 tires. My wife and Mother in law immediately told me that their vehicles ride way better, handles better, and it is more quiet in their vehicles. As for the design, I love the way Michele tires look on almost all vehicles. All I can say about the construction and materials is that the tires appear to be made well. I am 53 years old and have never had a Michelin tire let me down. So I trust Michelin enough to use their tires on my family’s vehicles. After purchasing the Michelin Defender 2 tires for my Lexus ES350, I have decided to get a new set for my RX350 with 245/50R20. The New Defender 2 tires have great handling performance in dry and wet weather conditions, and it also provides very comfortable and quiet ride! In addition, it’s great to know that the New Defender tires will last for a very long time with 80,000 miles warranty. I like the new tires very much and happy with the choice I made.

I installed these tires on Mazda CX 9 2021, less than a month ago, after reading positive reviews about these tires. Disappointed, brand new tires, thumping noise at 100km/hr plus speed .Tire shop recheked it, balance it again, its better, but not the same smoothness as OEM tires Falken Ziex Ct 50. ires, balanced it again. I won't buy or recommend. Wish, could replace it with continental extreme contact.

I had researched all tire offerings for this vehicle and these proved to be the highest-rated and best value and they have not disappointed me in any way. Premium rubber for a competitive price is always a great value. That your life and the lives of your family are at stake makes the decision an easy one. As we also roll on Michelin X-Ice 3s in the winter means that we will be covered for years to come!

I decided on Defender 2s for my 2017 Acura TLX V6. I live in Florida but occasionally drive north in the winter. The tires are very quiet. The handling of the car is exception. These two aspects get 5 stars. What I have found that my mileage has decreased about 20 to 25%. I need to fill up after 300 miles instead of the 400 miles on the OEM tires.
