I use this as a meal replacement at breakfast,and later in the day early evening I use this is a snack to fill me up so I don't overeat in the evening.I have been using your shakes for a year now,but this flavor is the BEST I have ever tasted in a protein drink.Please keep it all year round.

I am in the process of losing weight with diet and exercise - already down 40+ pounds - and Premier Protein shakes while not an every day part of my diet are great a few times a week when I am busy at work or traveling and can't get a good meal in. The root beer float has been my favorite flavor so far though I must admit - it needs to be cold. I read reviews that almost scared me off, but only drinking them cold has been great. Not sure how they taste room temperature but I'm not sure I would want a frosty tasting drink room temp. I find them to have less of a protein shake aftertaste or that thick, coated feeling in your mouth than other flavors. Anyway, give them a try and when you do make sure they're cold. And Premier Protein, please make this a permanent flavor. It's too good.

PLEASE BRING IT BACK AS A REGULAR FLAVOR! This is one of the best flavors. I have been consuming premier protein shakes for years and many are simply to sweet for me, but this one is really good, my favorite and I have tried all except pumpkin. I really would love to have this one available on a regular basis.

OMG...I saw this yesterday and it fell in my cart somehow! It is my favorite Premier Protein flavor now. I just wish we had bought more than one box! It tastes similar to root beer milk. If you crave root beer floats but don't want the sugar and fat, this is for you!

The root-beer float is now one of my favorite flavors! I can't imagine it going away. It's is a great mix between cool, creamy and a hint of that sweet root-beer to bring it all together. I feel like this is flavor makes the drink feel lighter and not as heavy in my stomach.

I have Cystic Fibrosis and are prescribed replacement shakes for nutrition. My dietician suggested the Premier Protein as I have tried many other replacement shake brands that I just can't tolerate. The root beer flavor is the BEST I have ever tried, and I have tried MANY other brands and flavors. My dietitian is now saying I can't get this flavor any more - PLEASE, PLEASE bring it back! It is delicious! It is also one of the only brand flavors I've been able to drink.

I am doing a preoperative liquid diet. I love how this shake tastes. It's best cold and over ice. I gave it a 4 star just because I would give any protein shakes that tasted good that because of the smell. They all smell horrid. If I drink from a staw I don't get the smell as much, but the smell almost turns me aways from drinking them. You should try making other shake flavors like dreamsicle or banana cream, or idk.

For a few years we have been drinking the Premier protein drinks and loving them. The root beer float is my personal favorite. This time when I opened the caps there was a thick congealed layer at the rim. It was on the liquid line, and on the cap. I shook the bottles vigorously but the thickened portion was still evident as I drank the bottles. This thankfully has not happened in any other flavor. My coworker has taken to straining her rootbeer float flavor through a tea strainer to remove the lumps. My bottles do not expire until next year, so freshness is not an issue.

My son loves these! He tried one on the ride home and said it was just ok. I put some in the fridge and when he went to get one the next morning he said wow! They're great cold! So i suggest putting them in the fridge! Just bought a couple more packs to have them in stock at my home.

I recently went through Bariatric Surgery and was tired of the basic vanilla/chocolate flavors. This shake tastes just like a melted root beer float, especially when frozen or on ice. So good! Stocked up incase they discontinue :) Side note - when I was on the pre-op diet and was using these shakes as a meal replacement I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks and wasn't really hungry at all!
