Besides washing down supplements which come in gel caps, I sip the new, refreshing, Root Beer Float Protein Shake throughout the day. At first sip, the flavor seemed rather flat to me...i.e., shy of the root beer flavor which I've come to know and love. Luckily, I happen to have Root Beer Extract on hand! Now I add just a little bit of the extract (1/4 to 1/2 tsp) to each bottle of Premier's Root Beer Float Protein Shake. I shake the bottle, and...mmmm...delicious!!! I know everyone has a different sense of taste, so this applies to my own. My granddaughter loves this new Protein Shake exactly as formulated! My daughter loves it either way. We drink it at room temperature, cool out of the frig, or freeze it and drink it slushy as it melts. We are all looking forward to enjoying this wonderful, nutritious, refresher during our hot Arizona summer months!!! It would be great if Premier would decide to keep Root Beer Float the rest of the year, too!!!

The flavor in this is great! It's smooth, not chalky, has a great authentic flavor and no weird aftertaste! It's a great "dessert" when you're dieting, or a refreshing post- workout shake. PLEASE keep this flavor! I hate that it is limited edition because I can only store so many!

Nasty flavor

It's like the difference in hot chocolate taste when it's made with water instead of milk. Chill to a bit icy is best. Room temp drinking a no.

From the fridge its like someone watered down dirty root beer and not really good. In the ninja creami it’s pretty darn good.

I use this at work if I am busy and cannot get my lunch in on time, it helps bridge the gap between meetings and such. Rootbeer float I just taste vanilla ice cream flavoring and a hint of something else which is not rootbeer.

This flavor is the best! Not super sweet very light tasting and tastes just like a root beer float! And it doesn't have that real protein-y flavor bite at the end..if you know you know lol. I wish they carried this flavor year round!

if you like vanilla with just a tiny hint of root beer, then this is for you. I barely like vanilla so I didn't like this. Was expecting more root beer flavor

Put me in the camp with the haters. It tasted like a float without the root beer. More like vanilla or maybe cream soda. I added A&W root beer 🍻 but it didn't help. I will probably incorporate the rest of the drinks into a smoothie or shake.

Great taste! I have tried most of the flavors and haven't really disliked any but, the Root Beer Float is by far my favorite!!!! I'm using these every other day as part of an ADF diet! The protein keeps me full and satisfied on my down days!
