I absolutely live on this brand! Having lu er damage my doctors have advised a high protein diet. Woth Premier Protein I can easy get my 150gms in everyday. It is the perfect supplement to my fresh food diet. I Only wish rootbeer float wasn't going away, and I can no longer access favorite flavor, bananas and cream. Still, there are no Bad flavors woth Premier.

It has a chemical taste to it and when you start getting to the bottom of the carton, there are clumps! The clumps literally make me gag every time I get one! I've tried so hard to get past it and drink what I bought. But it's a struggle. It does offer a good amount of protein though, so I gave it a 2 star for that.

Besides washing down supplements which come in gel caps, I sip the new, refreshing, Root Beer Float Protein Shake throughout the day. At first sip, the flavor seemed rather flat to me...i.e., shy of the root beer flavor which I've come to know and love. Luckily, I happen to have Root Beer Extract on hand! Now I add just a little bit of the extract (1/4 to 1/2 tsp) to each bottle of Premier's Root Beer Float Protein Shake. I shake the bottle, and...mmmm...delicious!!! I know everyone has a different sense of taste, so this applies to my own. My granddaughter loves this new Protein Shake exactly as formulated! My daughter loves it either way. We drink it at room temperature, cool out of the frig, or freeze it and drink it slushy as it melts. We are all looking forward to enjoying this wonderful, nutritious, refresher during our hot Arizona summer months!!! It would be great if Premier would decide to keep Root Beer Float the rest of the year, too!!!

The root-beer float is now one of my favorite flavors! I can't imagine it going away. It's is a great mix between cool, creamy and a hint of that sweet root-beer to bring it all together. I feel like this is flavor makes the drink feel lighter and not as heavy in my stomach.

I recently went through Bariatric Surgery and was tired of the basic vanilla/chocolate flavors. This shake tastes just like a melted root beer float, especially when frozen or on ice. So good! Stocked up incase they discontinue :) Side note - when I was on the pre-op diet and was using these shakes as a meal replacement I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks and wasn't really hungry at all!

i bought these because they were rated best seller! When they arrived, i put them in the fridge to get cold.... when i popped one open to drink i noticed a strong plastic/ chemical smell ..... well it wasnt only a smell, it also had a strong plastic/chemical taste to me. i thought maybe it was just me, so i had my hubby taste them and he also said there was a plastic smell/taste. not sure if it was because they were delivered to us during an extreme heat wave or if thats just how they taste... either way, we tossed them.

PLEASE BRING IT BACK AS A REGULAR FLAVOR! This is one of the best flavors. I have been consuming premier protein shakes for years and many are simply to sweet for me, but this one is really good, my favorite and I have tried all except pumpkin. I really would love to have this one available on a regular basis.

The root beer float shake is the best flavor, in my opinion, that Premiere Protein has introduced! Please, please, please make this one of the regular flavors always...lift the limited-edition label, this flavor is too good to be temporary!!!!! #PREMIERPROTEIN

I am doing a preoperative liquid diet. I love how this shake tastes. It's best cold and over ice. I gave it a 4 star just because I would give any protein shakes that tasted good that because of the smell. They all smell horrid. If I drink from a staw I don't get the smell as much, but the smell almost turns me aways from drinking them. You should try making other shake flavors like dreamsicle or banana cream, or idk.

For a few years we have been drinking the Premier protein drinks and loving them. The root beer float is my personal favorite. This time when I opened the caps there was a thick congealed layer at the rim. It was on the liquid line, and on the cap. I shook the bottles vigorously but the thickened portion was still evident as I drank the bottles. This thankfully has not happened in any other flavor. My coworker has taken to straining her rootbeer float flavor through a tea strainer to remove the lumps. My bottles do not expire until next year, so freshness is not an issue.
