I've had this pergola for almost a year now. It has gotten through one Arizona summer with no problems. I haven't seen any warping or fade spots. You will definitely need more than one person to install. It was a breeze with four people. Just make sure you have a level surface to start and pay attention to detail. I used the instruction manual instead of the app to install. For me it was easier following the steps in the manual.

I bought the Somerville 14 x 10 foot pergola last summer. It is fantastic, the wood is light but sturdy. We have high winds in Tennessee, but it withstood all the storms and wind. I sealed the wood with protectant to prevent pests and rotting. It was easy to construct, the direction were valuable and I am satisfied with the beautiful Somerville Pergola I sit under in my back yard.

I bought this pergola to bring some shade to my outdoor kitchen. Like most pergolas it provides wonderful shade in the morning and early evening, and dappled shade from about 11 to 2. This dapples shade is still more comfortable than full exposure. Plus the pergola makes my outdoor kitchen area look so very cozy.

I purchased this pergola several months back but had to wait for my brother to come into town before I could set it up. Took about a day and a half for us (65 & 69) to get it set up. Not difficult at all. Added some lattice on the top and I now have some extra shade on my house.

I purchased this pergola at the $799. price and I love it. Was looking for other retailers in the past 2 years that sell a 10x10 pergola over $1,000 dollars compare to this one including electric is a steal. Great for entertainment, family reunion, you name it. Very happy!

I purchased this pergola because I didn't want to build one from scratch. The directions were a little hard to read but if you played with Legos you should be able to set this up easily. The unit was very heavy and stable even without the use of concrete anchors. I would recommend this product to others.

We bought this a year ago for out patio. It really elevated the look of our yard, and we receive so many compliments on it. It took about 3 of use to put it together and some patience, but it was doable. I am so happy with our purchase, it is exactly what I was looking for. It should be noted that there are a few flaws here and there in the wood, but nothing major. It is to be expected when something is real wood versus pressed board.

Only issue we had was with the screws and threading some had to be re-threaded. Put together pretty easily 3ppl about 3hrs. Customer Service was outstanding when I noticed the power port was missing they had it sent immediately. Definitely would recommend especially considering the price and quality.

We put it up in an afternoon with some friends, instructions were fairly easy to decipher once getting started. All of the wood came packaged tightly, the predrilled holes were correctly place, and it came with plenty of extra hardware. All in all, the pergola really ties together our backyard.
