I've been ordering the Nature's Bakery fig bar box from Sam's Club for about a year and a half I've recently been noticing that a lot of the bars are hard and/or old and inedible. so seems like the Nature's Bakery quality control has gone down of course no issue on Sam's Club side but with the quality of the Fig bars from Nature's Bakery has gone down. other than that I love these fig bars I've been eating for years I love that this is a large box and it gives you a variety they're very good they taste good they feel like & look like real fig bars and they take the place of the old school fig snack that you would find in the store which are no longer fig they're just like a fig paste and doesn't have fig seeds inside.

I get it, everything is getting more expensive. I have been buying these for years and have always been happy with them. HOWEVER, recently I've noticed the bars themselves have shrunk in size. The box itself is still the same size and therein lies the evidence of Nature's Bakery's attempt to hide the shrinkflation. There is extra space in the box now when previously the fig bars would fill it and fit perfectly . They've made the product smaller and kept the price the same. I would prefer to pay a little more for the original size than be deceived by a shrinking product.

The convenience and taste of these fig bars are wonderful. I can grab one to eat on my way to work and not have to worry about making a mess. There are two small squares in each pack, so I can eat one blueberry and one raspberry and save the other halves for later. These are healthier for you than Pop Tarts, most breakfast bars, and other "on-the-go" bars. With all that said, there was never a time that I ate one when I didn't get a hard/crunchy piece, almost like a grit. They were tiny, but it was enough to make me stop eating them, but my mother still loves them, and that says a lot because she doesn't generally eat figs at all. I will purchase them again, and I might partake of one or two, but I do wish they didn't have those occasional hard pieces in them.
