The convenience and taste of these fig bars are wonderful. I can grab one to eat on my way to work and not have to worry about making a mess. There are two small squares in each pack, so I can eat one blueberry and one raspberry and save the other halves for later. These are healthier for you than Pop Tarts, most breakfast bars, and other "on-the-go" bars. With all that said, there was never a time that I ate one when I didn't get a hard/crunchy piece, almost like a grit. They were tiny, but it was enough to make me stop eating them, but my mother still loves them, and that says a lot because she doesn't generally eat figs at all. I will purchase them again, and I might partake of one or two, but I do wish they didn't have those occasional hard pieces in them.

Answering the question: 28% sugar (19 grams). See label shown on second picture on listing. Sugar is listed as second ingredient. Overly high, way overly high. Would MUCH, MUCH, MUCH prefer if sugar content was a lot less. Would be a much better item and would purchase much more frequently. As it is too much sugar. Do not have anything against sugar, it is that this item would be a lot better and sell more if less sugar. Nabisco Fig Newton has 12% sugar. Besides that, be well always and continual goodness to you and all of yours.

Great flavor. I find these are just right for me for a little dessert each night. Being in small serving size packages helps me to control my eating. I usually stick to just 1 pack a night. If I had a dozen cookies, my restraint goes out the window. I panic every time I can't find them in the store, thinking Sam's has discontinued carrying them. My only complaint is that the Sam's store I go to moves them around so much. It seems I always end up searching for them in the store as it is never the same.
