Member's Mark Whole Roasted Red Peppers, 33.5 oz.

I just opened my can today, it started bubbling and when I tried to pick the peppers out, it literally melted in between my fingers.

Shortly after first opening the jar  and using a few peppers, we discovered that the peppers near the top of the jar developed white mold while under continuous refrigeration.  I assume this is because the "brine" is not adequately balanced with sufficient salt and acid. I have never had this happen with a jarred "marinated" vegetable such as this.  I do not recommend this product and would not purchase it again.

My husband really enjoys these on his sandwich, a side dish or snack. He eats them every day! I like them as well, as an appetizer  with fresh mozzarella, basil and evoo. They are not spicy, they are sweet and delicious. I sometimes put them in an omelet.
