Poor quality

As the title says, my box arrived today with an expiration in ten days. Can't exactly eat that many in such a short time, and with so many reviews mentioning old product and mold, and with Sams marking these as no returns possible, it is a waste of money and a rip off.

Hostess doesn't put "Best By" Date on outer Box. I ordered and recieved a box that was 1 month out of date and Sam's sent me a new box. That Box was 2 months past it's "Best By" Date. This pastry is Good if Fresh but Hostess is not allowing buyer to see Expiration Date before Purchase. Sam's probably needs to remove from shelf every 30 days but Hostess shouldn't HIDE Expiration Date.

I just purchased a single one from the store and it was so terrible I had to find somewhere to review it. With the new look came a downgrade in flavor. The bread is dense and tasted stale and whatever goop is on the inside tasted nothing like cream cheese. Highly processed junk but at least it used to taste good.

I just recently got home from shopping at the Rockford, IL Sam's Club. I was putting things away when I noticed the expiration date on this item's (Hostess Danish mix) box is December 6, 2023. Today is December 22,2023. I went ahead and tried 1 and it's dry and does not taste as it should, so most of it went in the garbage. I am hoping maybe my husband will be willing to eat at least some of these, so we don't have to throw them all out. Wasted money and learned I need to watch the expiration dates, even at Sam's Club. :( These are normally really good, when not weeks past their best by date. So, I am very disappointed this happened as we are almost 1.5 hours away , each way, so almost 3 hours driving total to get there, and so we don't get there very often.

They expire in 9 days. I would not have bought these in store. They give you the oldest near expiration items at curbside pickup. I should check dates at curbside pickup from now on and say I don't accept items this close to being expired because they are probably already stale and expired. I will be returning them to the store tomorrow for a refund.

Purchased in store on 12/31/24 with an expiration date of 01/15/2025. Tried the blueberry cheese danish. It was like chewing soft/mushy dough wrapped around fruit. The danish was not flaky as pictured on the box. Very disappointed in the purchase because the word freshness did not mean anything. The product was purchased for a large family New Years breakfast get together.

I had gotten these once before a year or so ago and they were great. I got some today and they were awful. The berries and cream cheese were mushy and tasted like under cooked dough and there's basically no filling in any of the one I got ! I will be asking for a refund.

purchased these for a quick breakfast take along. They were all moldy! Threw them all away.

Pretty strong chemical taste and expired after 12 days. Can't taste any cream cheese.
