The closure tabs break in less than a year. I've had two so far and this has been the case for each, though now I'm learning that the outer shell should not go into the dishwasher. Fingers crossed that 3rd times the charm and handwashing keeps it lasting long! Besides that, the container is easy for my preschooler to use. We like how we can keep foods in their own separate spaces. The space for a sandwich is a little to small for a full-sized sandwich, but perfect for 1/2 a sandwich.

We have 6 of the style bentgos. Most we have had for a year +. Unfortunately our two newer ones have both broken at the tabs (outer shell). After speaking to the company the outer shell shouldn’t be dishwashed, even in the top rack (the symbols imprinted on the outer shell says different). We will continue to buy these just simply for convenience and functionality for school lunches.

I bought this lunch box about 10 months ago. It is perfect box to keep my daughter's lunch hot or cold. I reach out with instruction on cleaning it. The Bentgo team replied quickly. They were very knowledgeable about what to us and the outcome of those products. When the steps they suggested didn't work they stepped in. I appreciate companies like this. My daughter loves her bentgo lunch box. She prefers fruits and vegetables over warm lunch and now even once a strawberry or raspberry juice has spilled out of her lunch box. The rubber inside of the lunch box seals every compartment tightly and nothing ever gets mixed up.

We love our Bentgo Boxes - recently got a new one for my daughter to start summer VPK and the portion sizes are perfect for her to have a verity and not feel like I'm over packing, She can open and close the box by herself which is helpful at school.
