The closure tabs break in less than a year. I've had two so far and this has been the case for each, though now I'm learning that the outer shell should not go into the dishwasher. Fingers crossed that 3rd times the charm and handwashing keeps it lasting long! Besides that, the container is easy for my preschooler to use. We like how we can keep foods in their own separate spaces. The space for a sandwich is a little to small for a full-sized sandwich, but perfect for 1/2 a sandwich.

I had received my lunch box a few months ago and it did an excellent job as a leak proof container both as a whole and between compartments. I recently noticed some black spots which I believe to be mould and a bad smell coming from the lid. I contacted customer service and they are replacing it right away. Fantastic customer service!

I ordered two for my granddaughters, they had asked for them at Christmas, after not finding what I wanted in stores, I ordered online, they came quickly, packaging is great for gift giving. The product and Customer Service is outstanding. I definitely will be ordering more for gifts. Thank you

I have had 2 bentgos where my son has somehow managed to unhinge the hinges (not the clasps). It is near impossible to get the hinges back in once popped out. I had to throw one away and the other just keeps coming undone. That being said, I do think this is the best lunch box on the market. Plus the customer service is great so that is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 2 (if they did not offer to replace, I would have given 2).

We purchased this bentgo for our son to use during his year of kindergarten. This box has been amazing because it’s deeper than the children’s version and you can still put little containers and silicone items in there with food. It has room for everything and more and we’ve even use it on our travels. I purchased the kids version for first grade and decided to return it and continue to use this one, that’s how much we like it. Highly recommend!

I bought two of the boxes recently and one of the straps on one broke off. I was a bit nervous about this since the products don’t have any visible serial or product number on them. I got in contact with the company and was wowed the experience. I found out the products have a two year warranty on them and I got the broken one replaced at no cost to me. The person on the other line was very courteous and helpful. I didn’t really have a firm opinion on Bentgo, but I am a huge promoter now. Great company!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bentgo box as a sample to try out. I am impressed by the hinge. It moves unlike any hinge I have seen before. I also love that the plastic is BPA free and sturdy and unlikely to break if dropped. The seal helps keep each compartment airtight. The pull out tray is the only part machine washable to insure a airtight seal, but the outer part can still be hand washed. The box is easy to open and close even with my arthritis. The purple and pink colors are muted so its not overly bright. The best part is how quick it is to put together different items in one container.

I want to give this 5 stars because customer service is amazing, but the hinges on my Fresh lunch box have broken twice. I only put the inside in the dishwasher and I am not rough with it, but somehow the plastic pins that hold the hinges on all of our Bentgo containers have had issues breaking. I wish they would use a metal pin that goes into the plastic, which would hold up so much better. I also love that clips close easily. Sometimes I have to wiggle the tray to get it to seat correctly, but once clipped it seals tight. With the broken hinges, I am using rubber bands to keep it closed because don't want to try another one and keep adding to our graveyard of exteriors.

We purchased two bentgo lunchboxes. They are the perfect size for our daughter. Easy for her to open and close. Was not heavy. She loves her food separated. We noticed black spots on the bentgo and emailed customer service. It was covered under warranty and they shipped out new ones. Great customer service. So seem less.

My 5yo has loved taking his bentgo boxes to kinder but after just 7mos, I was disappointed that one of the tabs had completely broken off. I reached out to the company as there is a 1yr warranty and the process was super easy to get a replacement. I am incredibly pleased with this product and their customer service!
