After almost two years the dryer doesn't stop spinning. Even after I turn it off, when I close the door it spins even dough it is off. We tried cleaning the vents, resetting the circuit and nothing works. Videos on you tube show how to fix it but I feel like this should not happen. The comments in the video say that many people have problems like mine and some of the comments are dated 7 years back. So how come Samsung doesn't fix this problem for 7 years? They invest in Smart things , functions such as starting your circle remotely but what we need is just working dryer. If I can't turn it in/off and it keeps spinning all this functions are USLESS .

I have their Bespoke Refrigerator, which has been great and now their dryer is just as impressive. The look and design is modern and sturdy. Although we did not stack the washer and dryer they are stack-able. Love that the drum is stainless steel, and it’s a very large capacity. The dryer is also so much quieter than my previous one. The drying time in this dryer is just as impressive. I was shocked my drying time was cut in half compare to my previous dryer with similar load size. I also love the smart features. There are so many different programmed drying cycle you can choose. It’s great to be able to check up on my laundry, set dryness, temperature or select options like reduce wrinkles and damp alert all from the phone with the smart things app. Love it!!

Bought this dryer (as part of a combo purchase with the washer) during the labor day 2023 sales events with great expectation; i am testing it today - Sept 10th with a few clothes. I was jolted by the sudden and totally unexpected noise from the "Vent System Test"; no where was it stated in the manual to expect this noise. My hope and expectation have been completely dashed by the vibration, the squealing /grinding/deafening noise coming from this device. Noise was audible from all the adjoining rooms to the laundry room. This can't be normal, I am disappointed and I don't recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is amazing. It doesn’t make much noise at all. It’s very spacious, I am able to add many clothes inside. I also love how it notifies me when the washer is done. I can see it on my smart tv screen which is awesome. I also appreciate how many different settings it has. If I need to wash heavy loads from work I can. If I I need to wash my sheets it also has a setting for that. I can also use a quick setting to wash something simple and get it washed in the morning before work. It makes my life so much easier. It is also very energy efficient. My energy bill has actually gone done since this purchase. Kudos to Samsung on this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] you cannot see the controls! almost impossible to find, almost invisible until you hit the power button. on the dryer, they don’t light up at all, not a defect that’s a confirmed design feature. at any price point, you should be able to easily and instinctively see the controls, this is inexcusable. do they not market testes new designs? our last generation, samsung washer and dryer are great, big logical controls, angled up at the user, and everything lights up. this is a deal killer for me and i do not buy recommendation. oh yeah, they wash well and dry good. but hard to tell for the controls if you’re an eco-mode, which takes forever to dry or regular mode, just not intuitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had Samsung washers over 10 years. My previous one was coming close to 10 so had to change. I was still pleased with her bit heating element was going out too frequently and got tired of it. Otherwise, it was still functional. This new AI model looks very modern, but doesn’t dry as thoroughly as previous model. I used to dry in about 40 min. Now to get the same results, I have to run a full cycle for one full hour. The lint basket needs to be cleaned out before every cycle (has an alarm you need to clear). It kind of annoying if you ran something super light that you know you don’t need to but you have to go though the steps. It also had a strange noise as some parts are rubbing against each other when I got it. I thought I had to call the tech, but it got better. Not to mention that the original order came defective as a known issue. Samsung readily replaced it, but I never thought Samsung would damage its name with this level of service. I think all defective or potentially defective items should be inspect I’ve before went to the customer.

I have all samsung products because they work and they are easy to set up. Added dryer to smart thungs app. App tells me when its done and it also displays on my tvs.
