[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer and dryer set, and the washer does great, and the dryer has cut dry time from 1.5-2 hours to 45-50 minutes for the same typical load. This makes for faster finishing of a tedious adult task.

Very disappointed. I've had this unit for almost two years, and it's never dried properly. It takes multiple cycles to dry a standard size load of laundry, and you can just forget about a bed spread. I splurged for the highest end set of washer and dryer thinking it would perform better and it has just been a pain in the neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the large capacity of our new Samsung washer. It allows me to wash more clothes in a shorter amount of time. It seems to be more efficient and use less detergent, too, which is nice. Other nice features are the options for specific fabrics (gentle, bedding, towels, etc) and that you get a notification on your phone when the cycle is finished. Our washer is in our basement so this is handy. No major drawbacks. Sometimes scrolling through the digital options of cycles is tedious when you’re in a hurry, but otherwise it gets my clothes clean and does what a clothes washer should.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just love this Samsung dryer. First of all its beautiful and modern looking. You can tell its a premium product just by the design. It compliments the washing machine perfectly. It has so many drying options to choose from. Since it has a water connection it offers a number of steam drying options to reduce wrinkles or freshen up lightly worn garments between washes. This is just such a great feature to have in your house. We love that the dryer sends out notifications when its done with the cycle since we can't always hear the chime. The controls are sleek and easy to select one of many drying options. The capacity of the dryer is huge, it handles our largest blankets and comforters and in many cases we are able to fit more than one at a time! A really neat feature is that based on the wash option used, the dryer will recommend a drying option which is just so cool to us. We love Samsung products and this one has lived up to the name.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this drye installed about two weeks ago. It seems solid and can take a good load amount of ckothes. Big loads of clothes do not seem to be an issue as they come out dry. I really like the look and also it connects to your phone.

This dryer looks nice and of course it matches the associated washer. Dryers are all pretty much the same... they heat and spin your clothes. The differences are in the controls. Unfortunately this dryer limits you to cycle configurations predetermined by the manufacturer. e.g. I have comforters that are supposed to be dried on low heat. However if you select the BEDDING cycle you cannot set the temperature to low (2). The temperature is preset to high (5); it cannot be changed. Most (99%) of the cycles are like that. I'm not sure why they don't include a USER cycle that allows you to set the dryness and temperature to your choice. It's very annoying. The SmartThings app is a nice feature, but you can only choose the cycles that are available on the machine. Too bad there isn't a USER cycle that could be configured to your liking. There is drum light that can be turned on. It's fun to watch your clothes spinning. Unfortunately it automatically turns off after a couple of minutes. I don't want to be constantly having to turn it on. Better if it would stay on until I turn it off, or the drying is complete. Another annoying manufacturer decision made for you. You have to spin a knob to choose a drying cycle. It's functional, but I much prefer all of the cycles and options displayed all at the same time on the front of the machine. Then a cycle and option can be swiftly selected instead of having to spin a dial and going into a sub menu to choose an option. The knob and associated display saves panel space, so maybe that is why they went with that approach. The display is nice. For some reason, after a few days of use... there are fewer available cycles to choose from when I spin the dial. (There are supposed to be twenty cycles.) Now there are only a few cycles that show up. The Timed Dry isn't even there anymore. The cycles are disappearing, very strange and very annoying... I will have to troubleshoot. Fortunately I was able to access the drying cycle that I wanted using the SmartThings app. You can control the dryer with the SmartThings app. Unfortunately you have to enable the function from the front panel on the dryer. If you turn the power off then it doesn't work anymore. You have to leave the dryer on if you want to be able to start the dryer from the SmartThings app. I would give this dryer five stars if the manufacturer would have provided a USER cycle. One where I could set the dryness and temperature level to my liking. For whatever reason Samsung thinks they know what's best for you... but I much prefer to dry clothes using the instructions on the care label. I'm super pleased with the companion washer. The capacity is huge and swallows my comforters with no problem. Furthermore it provides the control flexibility that I want. Not sure why the manufacturer chose to limit control flexibility in the dryer... Hopefully they will update the firmware to fix this deficiency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is amazing. It doesn’t make much noise at all. It’s very spacious, I am able to add many clothes inside. I also love how it notifies me when the washer is done. I can see it on my smart tv screen which is awesome. I also appreciate how many different settings it has. If I need to wash heavy loads from work I can. If I I need to wash my sheets it also has a setting for that. I can also use a quick setting to wash something simple and get it washed in the morning before work. It makes my life so much easier. It is also very energy efficient. My energy bill has actually gone done since this purchase. Kudos to Samsung on this product.

It automatically calculate its time and u just need to be relax and wait for final bell which tells u that your cloths are ready whoooohhhoo :) . i would recommend this product.

The control panel is simple. Similar to it sibling the dryer is filled with features. The dryer came with inlet for water connection - so no manual refills. The drying cycles are many - covering all kinds of loads. The dryer also works with Smart things app. That is really useful. The dryer senses optimal dryness - that preserves the clothes. And while working - it is quiet.
