I've bought this exact deodorant for years. This time the scent was so far off normal. Excessively perfumey to the point where I can smell it on my husband when I walk into a room and every piece of laundry washed with his shirts is pervaded by the scent. Even after showering the scent is stuck on him and the furniture smells like it after he sits there. it's really bad. Sort of a chemical/powdery/perfumey/axe body spray kind of a scent but now it is everywhere in my home. I am pretty sensitive to smell but it never bothered me in the many years we've bought this until now. I will never buy this again. It will probably take a lot of wash cycles to get rid of the fragrance completely.

As another reviewer has already stated, something has recently changed with this product. It used to go on pretty much dry. Now, it goes on very wet and yes, it comes off on clothing, too. The deodorant is so wet that I actually had the top 1.5 inches break off the applicator and fall to the floor. What a mess. Definitely will be looking elsewhere. Too bad. This was my go-to deo for at least the last 10 years.

Degree Cool Rush used to be my husband's favorite! I loved it as well as he always smelled so good. The change to the deodorant is absolutely nauseating! I had to throw out the shirts he had this disgusting smell on. I couldn't get it out no matter how many times I washed it. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL!!!!

Seems like the product and package have both changed. Used this for many years and it is a great price at Sam's. The product doesn't go on the same and perform as well. However, since the change in the product, all of my shirts now are stained. That includes new shirts and my older shirts that I have worn for years to do heavy work outdoors in hot weather. I won't wear my other new shirts until I find another product that won't stain my shirts because I don't want to ruin them.

The slow progression of cheaper packaging, smaller amounts of product and other subtle changes we tolerable. But the change to some pungent new version of cool rush is terrible. It’s eye watering and has a fake sickly sweet aroma that doesn’t go away.

The guys in my home enjoy the scent and how it prevents wetness and odor. They don't complain of irritation or itchiness as they have in the past with other brands. The price is great too, 5 deodorants for about $12 is a awesome. FYI, be careful when using dark colored clothing as it can leave marks like most deodorants tend to do.

The scent has changed to be overly fruitful and powerful. Used it for many years, barely able to notice smell, not it overtakes the room. Please go back to original formula. There is NO way what I have under my arms is the same product I have used for years, I am embarrassed to go near any other human. I am afraid they will think I am a 14 year old using cologne for the first time......I am over 60!

Degree Cold Rush is one of my go-to deodorants, especially when I travel! It keeps me fresh all day, even when I'm super active or on the go. The scent is really clean and energizing without being overpowering. I love that it holds up through workouts, errands, and busy days. Definitely a must-have in my routine! Even as a woman, I use this.

My husband use Degree brand since he was a teenager, and he's now on his forties now! That should tell you how well it works and how good it smells. No other brand has worked nearly as well, and he get complimented on how h smell constantly, even more so when he is not wearing cologne! It's the Degree! I only put a little bit on after I shower once a day, that's all it takes to keeps his pits fresh for 24 hours or more. ONE PROBLEM THOUGH. They tend to like to switch their formula around, or rename it, relabel it or whatever periodically for whatever dumb reason, and whenever they do I almost always fall for the trick and buy the wrong kind and have to take it back to the store and swap it. Also, the clear gel stuff never works for me and just feels like you have slime under your arm. So anyway, he always have to remind him self to be careful and check to make sure it's the white semi-powdery stuff, and not the gel crap. So that's why I say pay attention. You have to be sure you get the right kind and that they haven't changed it up on you, but other than that, I fully recommend Degree. If you know it works for you and can find a bulk deal like this even better!

So I have to say I was impressed after using degree cool rush antiperspirant deodorant stick that belongs to my husband. We were on vacation and I had forgotten to pack my deodorant. I borrowed his and really enjoyed the smell and the calming cool effect it had on my skin. Had me wondering why we did not have deodorant for a woman that felt this good. I did not feel the sun was overly masculine it was pretty neutral and as far as sweating or smelling it kept me dry and fresh all day and into the evening. I would definitely recommend this product to men or women.
