We visited many furniture showrooms and laid on many beds but kept coming back to Stearns and Foster. For various reasons we bought our bed directly from Stearns and Foster and found their customer service to be top rate. We are primarily side sleepers and found this medium firmness bed gave us the proper support. It's been two weeks now and so far are very happy with our decision. We are not only sleeping better and longer but wake up more rested and with less aches.

This bed lived up to my expectations! Most comfortable bed I've ever owned! Folks please do yourself a favor and order directly from Stearns and Foster. Their customer service is exemplary. The delivery was flawless. Wait time was excellent for a hand crafted bed made just for me. Heavenly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Stearns and Foster mattress and we are not disappointed! We have nicknamed the mattress "Cloud Bed". It is very supportive and comfortable. This is our favorite mattress. We are 70 & it supports our back, hips, and knees very well & comfortably.

By far the absolute worst customer service experience that I've ever had. I ordered a Lux Estate PT Firm, based upon other reviews and the Stearns & Foster telephone sales reps recommendation. Everyone was saying that "even though it's designated "Firm-It's more like a medium". Well that couldn't be further from the truth. It is as hard as a rock. I've been trying to initiate a return/exchange for almost a month, and have gotten nothing but grief. The returns dept tells you one thing, the sales dept tells you another. I've after dozens of calls, and at least 12 hrs total spent communicating with reps from both departments. I still have not gotten any resolution. Meanwhile, my back is broken from sleeping on this slab of rock they call a bed. I couldn't be more miserable. NEVER AGAIN! Next step will be to call Wells Fargo and dispute the transaction.

But nope, it's been perfectly comfortable from day one (and my back is grateful)! I'd fallen in love with a friend's old old Stearns and Foster mattress (did I mention I have back pain?), so I decided to buy my own, and what a difference it's made. I'd had a 15 year old Sleep Number before, which had broken down and was extremely painful to sleep on. The Stearns and Foster I fell in love with was at least that old and wasn't broken down, thus my decision to purchase one, and look forward to many years of use. From the smooth online ordering to the delivery timing and customer service, I couldn't be happier, so I'd definitely recommend investing in this mattress (for reference, I have preferred a soft mattress before this).

After having slept on this cloud we've been quite happy. I just wished we had bought this mattress much sooner. We love it and so will you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second S+F mattress. Our first one was a great mattress but was ruined by our movers during a move and thus had to be replaced. We bought a mattress from a different manufacturer and after several years had to have it replaced because it was sagging. We bought another S+F mattress and are finally sleeping so much better again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress has negatively impacted my quality of life by giving me ongoing back pain, interrupted sleep and exhausted days. This mattress was not even 6 months old when it began to sag in the sections where we sleep, especially where my husband sleeps. When my husband would get into bed, I would roll downhill towards him. I never have back pain or back issues, but this mattress has consistently given me a sore back from sleeping on it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product. When I called customer service, they said I had to file a warranty online and the service representative sounded frustrated that she even had to tell me this. Overall, such a disappointing and frustrating experience. We purchased this mattress after previously owning a Stearns and Foster mattress for over 10 years, which had held up wonderfully. My husband bought this current one for me as a birthday present after having my third baby, and I hate that it caused me more pain postpartum than anything else. The pain and discomfort now wake me up multiple times a night, so much so that I end up in my kids' bed. I would not recommend this company based on their rude customer service and process or this product; shop elsewhere.

I'm a side sleeper and I haven't had any trouble with my shoulder like I did with my previous bed. The only concern was that it took a few weeks to get it because of the delivery schedule. Otherwise, the delivery went well. The delivery men were very personable and professional.
