This is a LOVELY cabinet, I love the drawer storage. My one "dislike" of it is that it is so tall. I may try to find smaller wheels to bring the height down a little. I was hoping to fit this under an adjustable height workbench, but will have to keep the workbench much higher than I want just so that it will fit under neath. Totally my fault for not understanding height, but the photos don't help when gaging this information. I did use a tape measure, but seeing it next to another item (workbench or table) would have been helpful. One of the downfalls of ordering online. It's wide and tall. But I still like it.

I opened the box from one end, pulled everything out and then used the box as a low table to assemble. The instructions are excellent, if you don't try to follow the pictures. They reversed the view of the assembly part way thru. All the parts were well marked and you could probably put it together without instructions, but may have to back track as there is a certain order at times. When doing the large drawers just loosely tighten the screws until you get them all in and squared up. Easy to "rack" the drawer. Rolls very easy. The small screwdriver supplied is magnetic (most of the time, one unit I bought it wasn't) and a big help to start the screw in some of the tight spots.

I just got done putting this together (with much help from #2 son) and there's a lot of putting together! It took us a good 4 hours I would say. But, it wasn't difficult. There are just a LOT of screws to put in and most need to be done with a hand held screw driver (provided, nicely magnetized too) The casters are massive and overdone to my mind. It seems to me that is one place they could have cut cost some w/out hurting the quality. Concerning cost, I shopped all over the web and the $199.99 (+ tax) I paid is the absolute lowest price I found for this piece. I still think $200 is too much money for an item like this but then, I'm 60 years old and lived too long when things did not cost so much I guess. I shopped long and hard for what I want for my particular storage wants and believe me, for what they are charging for things out there, this is an EXCELLENT value (whether I personally like it or not.). I have seen things for $400, $500, $600 and more that did not offer what this does. What I like about it; I build models and do leather work, knife scabbards, sheaths and the like. Too many drawer cabinets have a few, deep drawers. Those I wind up piling things atop others or the space above a layer of stuff just goes unused. This has a deep drawer for bulky items but, there are 5 nice shallow drawers. They are wide and deep (front to back) and the drawer pulls far enough out so that things are not hiding in back or buried where they are hard to get at. Last but not least, there is a nice hardwood top working surface. The cabinet is plenty stout but, like another reviewer commented, the drawer glides are a little on the week side. Heavy loads might cause them to drag a bit. I would not recommend this for a full load of mechanics tools. But, any thing up through say, medium-heavy duty would be just fine. If there is a drawback, it would be the purely utilitarian appearance of this but, it was clearly designed as such. I am keeping it in our front room where I do most of my craft work. I am considering attaching a couple pieces of paneling on the sides. That would be easy and make it look a little more... homey. In any case, My area should soon be a lot neater.

Nice cabinet. For my needs, it's large and the top 5 drawers are pretty shallow. Quality is great, but I'm now trying to sell it. I bought 2 and definitely don't need both. I would love to sell both and get something similar but smaller, with deeper drawers.

This fits perfectly under my Seville Classic Workbench and does a great job of holding my tools. This took approx 2 hours for me to put together and although not hard, just a lot screws and patients to complete. I cannot say that it is the highest quality that is out there, but the price justifies that. Not that this is cheap, but it is this price due tot the fact you have to spend quite a bit of time putting it together. It does lock which is a good feature, but it will only keep a honest person out. spin the unit around and remove the back would be an easy way to defeat it.

This is my 4th Seville Classic Garage product and I am very happy with them all. My only complaint with this unit is that some of the screw inserts in the drawer faces had damaged threads or were difficult to thread the screws in straight resulting in several cross threaded screws. I don't remember this being an issue with past drawer systems so perhaps there has been a change made? Aside from this issue everything seems to be high quality and works well.

This was the 4th piece of UltraHD we bought for our garage remodel. This piece is awesome the other ones were terrible. One cabinet the box was all out of wack and the only thing seville would do was send us new doors, but the problem was not the doors, for that reason I give this cabinet an okay rating since the whole line is not reliable.

First, we got the graphite & I'd say the frame is a little more brown than stainless steel drawers, unlike in the picture where they look like they match better. I agree with many of the reviews here. Basically it's a gamble, you may get one that is well packaged & put together or you may get one with scratches & dents. Even if you get the former, you're not just assembling every single panel & screw (it comes with 217 screws + about 3-5 extra of each screw type) , you'll even have to DISASSEMBLE some drawer tracks in order to install the wood top to the side panels and then reassemble them once installed. Even if you have a drill, there are a lot of narrow areas you need to get in that only a slim screwdriver like the one supplied can be used. The first cart sent to us had dented panels, chipped wood top & some of the rivets were crooked. Sams very quickly arranged to have a new one sent and that one was better, although like the first, I noticed some loose screws and rivets (not from the bag of hardware) at the bottom of the package. We couldn't disassemble the old one and repackage it (it's extremely tightly put together in a very thin styrofoam "box" and then that is covered by the cardboard box it's shipped in) so a courier came and picked it up, rather than fedex. Once put together it looks fine and will probably hold up in our studio. Just be ready for a lot of assembly and maybe some trial and error with parts and Sams customer service.

Well designed and manufactured. All the pieces fit together. Assembly is involved but instructions are straightforward. Outside packaging wasn't clearly marked (or I missed it) so I ended up opening the box from the wrong side which was awkward to remove the contents.

I wanted a nice cabinet of some sort to hold my bead horde. I looked at small chests and my husband suggested checking out mechanics' tool chests. I saw this one at Sam's and thought it just the thing. My husband put it together in about 2 hours (with my help holding the drawer pieces). I will likely replace the black honeycomb mats with a more solid surface mat for my bead collection. Hopefully, it will help me better organize my jewelry beads! It is industrial looking and is utilitarian and actually, I like the looks. There are lots more expensive chests out there, but this one will work for my needs.
