The soft gels are much better than the chewables. They work but you have to deal with bloating for a while before it will actually help. They're small and easy to swallow. All in all not a terrible product and does what it needs to do.

They usually work for what they're made for. I struggle especially with trapped gas and it can be very painful. Gas x usually improves the situation and sometimes completely fixes it.
