I had two Lasko heaters. The first one lasted only a couple of years before it died. The second one lasted about the same amount of time. It died when I walked by it and it gave me a static electric shock and it shut off and never turned back on. I bought a new one at Sam's Club on a Wednesday, and on Thursday I got up from the couch to turn the brand new Lasko heater off. I got a static electric shock from it and it shut off. I unplugged it for 15 minutes and plugged it into a different outlet in a different room and nothing. I reached out to Lasko to see if there's another reset that can be done. Nope. They were going to see if I "qualified for a new one." What?! It was less than 24 hours old and had been used a total of 10 minutes. I told them to nevermind; I would return it to Sam's Club for a refund, which I did.

USEFUL AND EASY TO USE

(-10/10) Turned on for all of 8½ minutes, out of the box, before stopping. Red light kept blinking and wouldn't power on. I gave it 15 minutes, UNPLUGGED to reset, and tried a different outlet, as per the lasko youtube video/website advice... still NOTHING. I wasted my time and fuel to go from middle of nowhere TX to SA to pick this up. Sam's Club... why are you even selling this?
