After 19 years of sleeping on the original Tempur-Pedic Classic it was time to replace the mattress because of ruts. I wanted to purchase another Classic but the times, technology and Tempur-Pedic products have changed. I researched online information and went to several retail outlets to try to find a Tempur-Pedic mattress that was as close to the classic as I could find. The results was I purchased the Pro-Adapt firm and I could not be more confident in my purchase. This mattress is far superior to the original Classic and I am getting the best nights sleep ever. Looking forward to another 19 years of peaceful, relaxing and blissful sleep!

I was waking three to four times in a seven hour period with my previous mattress for years. I have had my mattress for about a month now. I wake 0-1 times a night now. But I do think that the bed base has a lot to do with it also. You really need them both to get the effect that you need.

It also adds just a little firmness over the the regu;ar medium. This is a replacement mattress for a cloud supreme that had failed. The company stands by its products! Tempur-Pedic kindly gave me this Tempur-ProAdapt Firm mattress for free so that I can review it. I have loved sleeping on this mattress. I normally toss and turn a lot at night because I can't get comfortable and I get really hot but this bed keeps me from sweating and I no longer wake up tossing and turning. I also have noticed that I don't have aches and pains when I wake up since I began sleeping on this bed, and I feel more rested. I really can't say enough good things about it. If you're in the market for a bed that will help keep you cool and comfortable while you sleep look no further than the Tempur-ProAdapt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly can't say enough good things about our ProAdapt Firm mattress. My husband and I waited ten years to purchase a good mattress (we were so confused by the number of choices and the prices). We went to a local furniture/appliance store in Greenville, SC and the sales person was so knowledgeable that we knew instantly what would work. Although it is firm, there are times when we are deep in sleep and don't want to leave the bed at our alarm. There are mornings when I have the feeling that I've been in the most amazing cocoon, and the best part is my back doesn't hurt in the morning either (unlike our old mattress). Thank you Temperpedic for making this mattress. Even our parents visiting during Thanksgiving asked us what in the world they were sleeping on the next morning--they'd never had such comfortable sleep. I bragged about this bed to them and hope they'll get one too.

This is our second Tempur-Pedic Mattress and the improvements to this new model are great. The new mattress is even more supportive than our older one, preventing any back pain. If you like a firm mattress this mattress is for you. The only draw back is the thing is darn heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had sever spinal fractures and this mattress makes it much easier to get a good nights rest. A firm mattress prevents me from sinking into the mattress and makes getting in and out of bed much easier.

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. My old Tempurpedic had started to get too soft after atleast 15 years of use. I started to have trouble sleeping with lower back pain again. I checked out some other brands but they just didn't feel right when I tested them out. The minute I tried out a new Tempurpedic I knew i had found the right mattress. It took about a week to get used to the firmness of the new mattress - the first few days felt like sleeping on plywood but after about a week my backache is gone and I'm sleeping great again. Tempurpedics are expensive but they are worth the money.

I have not had a nights rest in years without back pain. Went to Mattress Firm and spent 3 hours laying on mattresses to finally be convinced to try a tempurpedic. I am SO glad that I did. It has been phenomenal. I LOVE the zero gravity too. Have slept like a baby with NO back pain! Would 100% recommend!
