The first night I slept in my new bed I went right to sleep. No tossing an turning absolute comfort. I just had my hips replaced and had a great deal of trouble sleeping. This is the first time I awoke with no headache or backache. I just love it an it makes me want to go to bed earlier than I use to.

This is a completely different and improved experience for us. I sleep on my back with wrist braces on and rarely turn side to side. When shopping we came across many hybrids but when they told us that tempur-pedic was the brand recommended by doctors for people with back problems I was sold. Why not get the mattress I might need in the years to come anyway- its like wearing orthotics in your your shoes. We went for the hybrid model to have a little more structure to the mattress but got the more expensive version of the model we were looking at to get the few more inches of foam and I think it was worth it. Hopefully it may make our mattress comfortable for longer (that is our hope). I no longer wake up multiple times a night due to back pain or hearing the springs move and make noises when my husband tosses and turns. We both sleep much better. I no longer look forward to taking trips and having to sleep on a different mattress, because now I love mine and I know that nothing will match it when we travel. It's actually a great feeling to know that your best sleep is the sleep you have at home a majority of the time. I do recommend the 5'' bed base, the 9'' was too high and we would have needed a stool to get into bed. I really wanted a 7'' which is my one recommendation to temper-pedic but the 5'' feels natural for us when getting in and out of bed for people our height (5'6"-5'10"). We have had the mattress for 4-5 months now. We would definitely buy it again.

We've had the bed for 5 months and my chronic back pain is gone. Before I got this bed I would go to bed in constant pain due to arthritis. Since I got this bed nightly back pain is gone. It took me awhile to get used to the feel (a couple weeks) but once I was used to it, it was great! This bed is worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Tempurpedic set. We went from an adjustable king to an adjustable split king. Although I find it as comfortable as the first, there are some things that are annoying. First the mattresses slide apart even after we put anti-skid pads under them. Secondly, the split set makes changing sheets much more difficult since the mattresses are so heavy.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for 3 weeks. It feels OK when I initially get into bed. But, I wake up after about 5 hours with pain in my hip & lower leg. Sometimes I also have lower back pain. I usually have to get up & go elsewhere to sleep for another 3 hours. I previously had an Adapt medium mattress for nearly 3 months. It was too soft, made turning in bed difficult & usually caused lower back discomfort. I would sink down into the mattress. I returned it & got the Pro-Adapt firm mattress. It is too firm & does not relieve pressure on my joints as I had hoped. I chose a mattress of foam & without inner spring coils, expecting a more comfortable bed. So far, it has been a big disappointment, especially after I paid so much money for it. I hope that it will become more comfortable with a little more time.

I was skeptical about this mattress, but I am loving it. I am sleeping better than I have in years. Purchase and set up were very easy and quick. We did have to buy the TempurPedic sheets as our old sheets would not stay on the corners. We do love the new sheets, so it's been fine.

My wife used to wake up several times in the middle of the night with hip pain. I would wake up early with back pain. We have had our Tempur-pedic 4-weeks so far, and neither of us has had this pain. We bought the adjustable base and it definitely has cut down snoring.

I chose the soft option thinking if it was too soft it could be exchanged for a medium, but its perfect. I sleep well on it, feels good sleeping on back or side. I love the removable washable cover. There isn't anything I don't like about it. I'm sold on Tempurpedic comfort.
