This is the 3rd one I've had over many yrs. The last one lasted 10yrs and was still ok, but started to get little too soft. I like a very firm one. My first one was when I had back surgery and it "saved" my life. My back pain was excruciating, but minute I hit that bed, it was gone all night. It takes a few weeks, maybe a month or so to "break it in".. so I liked the firm one which is very firm, but after a couple weeks it settled in to my body. Now it's great. I'd strongly recommend you find a Temper-Pedic factory to try them out. They have a 90 day exchange policy, so you can use it for 90 days, and during that time you can exchange for a different one if you like. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the most comfortable mattress ever, it took about a week to adjust but pains are gone. I feel rested. The only issue is that it dies run o the warm side. I find myself uncovered or just covered with a quilt. Pricing is a bit high.

The pressure-relieving foam provides soothing support to my back problem. What I appreciate most is the breathable material and SmartClimate Cover System, ensuring I stay cool throughout the night. Normally it takes me forever to go to sleep and toss and turn . But not with this bed ! I'm out in less than 15 minutes! That's a huge difference for me . This bed is like sleeping on a firm marshmallow! It's soft fits to your body .

I just got my queen sized ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 3 weeks ago. You can tell that it is different from other mattresses the first time that you sit/lay on it. It contours to your body and does ehlp pressure points such as knees, hips, and shoulders. It is still a bit on the firm side but that is to be expected as outlined in other reviews and from the store that I bought it from. I am using a comforter as a mattress topper and it creates a softer surface to sleep onI I am going to give it 90 days of use before writing a complete review. I got a BOGO on Tempurpedic pillows when I bought the bed so I am probably going to spring for a couple of pillows. If the pillows are anything like the bed, I am sure that they will be very comfortable

This mattress is grossly overpriced. I have been sleeping on it for almost a year and I wake up with more back pain than my previous mattress that cost a fraction. I don't think it contours to my body at all. It does not provide any cooling effects. I would never recommend this product nor will I buy it again. My couch is more comfortable than this mattress.

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. I've tried many mattresses over the years, and as a side sleeper, I was always left with shoulder and hip problems and pain. Add in a loudly snoring bulldog, and its a recipe for a sleepless night. That is, until I tried THIS bed. I knew that I would love it the moment I unwrapped the protective plastic and sat down on it. It was love at first seat. :D Not only do I sleep through the night (and sometimes my alarms), but I actually wake up feeling rested and not in pain. I like how the cover feels cool to the touch, and the mattress itself has enough firmness to keep me aligned, but the softness to sink in a bit to really get that cozy feeling. Even the dogs love it! :D The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of, and it's mostly dissipated, was the smell. Once unwrapped, it does have a bit of a chemical smell that needs to air out, but is definitely not a deal-breaker! *I received this mattress in exchange for my honest and open review.

I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME!
