This mattress is trouble, everytime you lay on it you will wind up staying in it and not want to get up meaning you will be late for work or just not even want to go to work it is that comfortable. At first you think its firm but it slowly adapts to your shape not in a sinking way at all though like a very comfortable way. The cool technology on the thin layer at the top also is a bonus, we never feel hot. I am very happy with the results. It has helped my back tremendously. Worth the money.

I am a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress for 25 years. It was time to upgrade to a new one, so I purchased a Tempur-ProAdapt Medium mattress together with their ProSmart bed base 10 months ago from the Tempurpedic website. The mattress is somewhat comparable to my 25-year-old Tempurpedic mattress but took some time to get use to how much lighter the mattress is and the dimensions of it. Which brings me to this review. I thought a buyer should know that the measurements of the mattresses sold are not 60 x 80. My mattress is 58 X 78 (2 whole inches less) than a typical standard queen size mattress. Their website does have a caveat stating the sizes are approximate, but the two-inch difference in size does cause issues with my fitted bottom sheets bunching nightly because they do not fit tightly on the mattress. I then bought sheets from the Tempurpedic website because they supposedly were designed for their beds and have straps on them to keep them in place but unfortunately, they also bunch up. I mistakenly bought three sets from Tempuredic thinking they would work better for their mattresses, but they do not. In fact, after opening up and using just one set, the other two are sitting in my linen closet unopened. I absolutely love their smart base and highly recommend it. Overall, the Pro-Adapt mattress took some getting used to it since it is built differently from the one I bought 25 years ago, but I still wouldn't trade it for a traditional mattress. The bunching of the bottom sheet during the night is a real nuisance though.

I love my Tempur Pedic mattress. Despite the fact that its a sauna, my good I'm sweating all the night. I'm buying cooling pads to see if i can refresh myself. Saying that, i think its the best mattress i ever own my back has gone from imposible pain to no pain at all. For this reason i will definitely recommend this mattress.

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. I have gone through 4 mattresses in 4 years. They were either poorly built, too soft or too firm causing back aches or sore presser points. I have both hips replaced and one knee. I purchased the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 7 weeks ago. This mattress is awesome! It is supportive without being hard. You feel yourself being cuddled without sinking into it. It is easy to move around in. I normally sleep hot but with their cooling technology I'm cool and comfortable all night. It used to take me quite a while to fall asleep, Not now, I fall asleep right away. I used to toss and turn through the night, now I can fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night waking up in the same position. I'm both a side and back sleeper and this mattress is great in either position. I can't say enough about this mattress. It cost more than my other mattresses but it is well worth it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. I look forward to going to bed and sometimes go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I have the adjustable frame which makes it even more awesome. Thank you tempur pedic for the perfect bed for me.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! Very pleased with our mattress. It is everything that was advertised and more. Comfortable, supportive, --perfect!. The price was excellent. Delivery and set-up was done by professional staff and it was on-time (as scheduled). We are happy all around with everything!

Not worth the price. This mattress is horrible. It's way to firm even for a medium. We wake up several times a night tossing and turning. Often times our shoulders hurt and our arms go numb from lack of blood flow. Since the next softest mattress is $1k more, we will be returning to the store for a refund and going with a different brand.
