We would never have believed you could make a determination about the comfort of a mattress in a short 5-10 minute in-store trial. But the minute we laid down on Tempur-Pedics, we were sold! The only decision was whether or not to get the hybrid. We ultimately chose the Pro-Adapt hybrid because it provided a little more 'firmness.' As an older couple, we decided we could use the additional support to make getting into and out of the bed easier. So we chose the hybrid. We are 2 months into ownership, and couldn't be happier with our decision. We also got the Tempur-Pedic pillows and love them, too!

My only regret is why I put off buying a Tempur-Pedic. Maybe because I could not find my comfort, but the new Pro Adapt firm is incredibly comfortable. Best sleep ever on the the first night with no back pain after a restful sleep. Also purchased the adjustable bases with our split King. The adjust-ability is fantastic that allows us to find our own comfortable setting. Highly recommended even though it's expensive but it's worth the money invested in it.

This is our second Tempur-pedic in the last 20 years. Both have been great. If you want a great night's sleep and alot fewer aches and pains this is the only way to go. In fact our old Tempur pedic and bases had alot of life left in them and our daughter and her husband loved it. So now they have it and couldn't be happier.

We owned a Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody mattress for many years. We were waking up many times thru the night, as our body was hurting. With our new Pro Adapt soft, we are sleeping thru the night and waking up feeling rested. The mattress is firm enough to be supportive, but soft enough to keep our shoulders and hips cradled. I know there are a lot of copy cat memory foam mattresses, but I am a loyal Tempur-Pedic customer. These mattresses hold up the way cheaper mattresses cannot. The only problem is that I can't wait to get back into bed after my day!

Almost 30 days in on our new mattress. Pleasantly surprised with comfort of a firm since I am a side sleeper. Adjustable base is great for tv watching & congested nights when suffering from a cold or allergies. Hubby has not complained of back pain so far. Would definitely recommend to others.

We first purchased the tempur adapt mattress in the medium-but upon sleeping on it at home, it was entirely too firm. The rep at the store, said the store models are often softer since they have been in use for a while. So keep that in mind when trying them out. We were able to exchange it for the soft tempur pro adapt and was so glad we did. Yes, this one is pricier, but if you are purchasing this brand of mattress, you better get what works-because none of them are cheap. The soft is perfect, even brand new out of the package. I think it would be simpler if Tempur-pedic only had soft or firm version of their mattresses. The mediums are pretty firm-not much difference between them and the firm. The soft versions are always the most comfortable to me.

Showroom firm mattress was very comfortable. The firm mattress I recieved is almost like sleeping on a table. My 30 days are almost up and I will be exchanging it for a medium hybrid. I wish there was a longer trial period to see how long it takes to soften up because the showroom mattress felt great.

This mattress was a replacement for a warranty issue that we had with our previous Pro-Adapt. The very first night we slept on this mattress, we noted how "hot" the mattress was. We never had an issue with the temperature, with our previous mattress. In fact, the bedding on the mattress was exactly the same bedding that we used with the new mattress. Since that first night, we have had numerous issues with the temperature of the mattress. Either my wife or myself have been kicking the "lighter" bedding off of us during the night, in order to sleep. I reached out to one of your customer care agents to discuss the issue we were having, and that agent forwarded our complaints to someone other than herself. We received an e-mail a few days later, stating that the mattress was a warranty replacement and that we were "stuck" with the mattress. "There is nothing that Tempurpedic will do at this time"! We paid an additional amount of money for the mattress that the warranty did not cover and at this point, I am greatly considering replacing the mattress with another product. This is not our first Tempuric Mattress that we owned and at this point in time it might be my last. You are not standing behind your product and I am sure that this review posted on Social Media will surely sway others from purchasing a mattress from your company. The mattress itself is pretty comfortable. Not as comfortable as I thought it would be for the price, but it's a good mattress. I'm 6' around 175lb my wife is 5'9" around 125lb and we both sleep pretty sound..... but constantly wake up sweating. While the mattress does contour to your body, it also traps a lot of heat in and causes a lot of heat. If you sleep cold and want to be hot, you'll love it. If you're like most people and would like to sleep cool.... this isn't the mattress for you.

Was hesitant getting another foam mattress, especially one that would set us back thousands - especially since we had just had a hybrid foam/spring mattress from a different manufacturer fail on us within 5 years. We went with the brand name and reputation with this purchase and you really are getting what you paid for. We got this in a Cal King and it has been just under 30 days since we've had it delivered. The first few days were rough with our bodies adjusting to this great mattress, but now I look forward to lying down each night and feeling my body supported by the firm mattress. As soon as I get in bed and lie on my back,I feel the support where I need it and will sometimes feel my back cracking from the pressure relief of the mattress. I'm an average sized guy 5'10" and my wife is smaller framed 5'4" and we both wake up now with no pain as we had in our last bed. In true Tempur-pedic fashion, we don't feel each other get in bed since we sometimes have opposing schedules due to shift work. We sleep through the night undisturbed. We still need to get use to very little give when getting in bed for the first time each night and not feeling that initial bounce. This is a FIRM mattress and is the firmest we've found, even compared to traditional spring mattresses. Time will tell though, as the displays we've seen of this mattress in stores feel a tad softer than what we've got - but still firm.
