- 5 out of 5 stars review1/9/2026We put these tires on our 23 Hyundai Palisade and we have about 5,400 on them so far and are very happy with them! We did a road trip from ND to Oregon and on to Nevada. Drove on dry pavement, snow/compacted ice, thru a foot of fresh snow and rain of all levels thru flat terrain to mountain terrain. The tires handled all and were very quiet and provided a great ride. Very happy with the tires and recommend highly.

I wish that we, in North America, could buy the European Cross Climate 2 tire in the H speed rating. This tire has the best rating for rolling resistance in Europe. Sadly Michelin has decided for us that rolling resistance is not important and that we shouldn't be able to buy those tires here. I doesn't hurt that tire manufacturers are NOT required to divulge rolling resistance performance in the US, as they are in Europe.

Great tires for Snow and Ice

I know they are bit expensive , bit man these are really good . My stopping distance was struggling on my older tires. however these have really good traction especially during rain ( we have a lot of it where I live). I learned the hard way that investing in tires is a no brainer, so I understand they are expensive , make noise on the highway ( I didn't notice a difference my self compared to my ECOPIA tires), but your safety is the most important thing, especially in wet condition.

We have them on our RAV4 and Ridgeline vehicles. They are slightly noisy on bare pavement, but with the aggressive tread design and wear, that is to be expected. No more putting on/ removing snow tires/ all season tires. The All Weather Michelin’s are a game changer. Thank you for developing such great tires!

Most winter tires have a special compound that will wear out before the tire's life leaving a standard tread tire for most of the life of the tire. These maintain performance through the tread so well worth the money. I will probably stop swapping my winter treads into the highway summer tire every season thanks to the CrossClimate.

We have not yet had the opportunity to drive in rain or snow yet to judge wet traction, but dry road performance is excellent. We reviewed test results from Consumer Reports and Tire Rack to help selection.

They were a bit noisy at first, but after about 1000 km they lost their road noise. The handling is wonderful, and I feel comforted that they will give me the traction I need especially during winter, when icy roads surprise us. I put them on my Dodge grand Caravan that has been converted to carry a heavy power chair. Previous tires of worn unevenly and I have a feeling that these new tires will have the durability I require.

Some say they are too pricey, but i disagree. Michelin is the only tire company that offers 150 miles of FREE Towing, gasoline if you run out and 60000 mile tread wear guarantee. Good in USA and Canada.

Overall, the tire performs very well in dry conditions and also handles regular rain without any issues. For everyday driving on wet or dry asphalt, the stability and comfort are good. However, the tire shows serious limitations as soon as there is wet snow or slush on the road, especially around +2°C. Braking performance becomes very weak, and the car tends to slide forward even at low speeds, around 15–30 km/h. In these conditions, the tire simply cannot provide sufficient grip, and stopping distances become dangerously long. I rotate these tires with each oil change every 5k miles. This set still has 6/32’s tread left on all 4 tires. The all weather traction is amazing. Great traction in the rain reducing hydroplaning and great stopping. I drive a front wheel drive Camry and I was able to safely travel with 6+ inches of snow this year on several occasions. I would not buy another tire knowing the abilities of these tires. I still drive with care during inclement weather but I feel safer knowing I have these tires gripping the highway. So far, I am happy with the purchase. When reading reviews, these tires were acclaimed for wet/dry/winter traction but there were some comments about higher tire noise. For my own experience, I cannot discern much worse tire noise than my former quiet/smooth Primacy tires. I'm still in the break-in period, but I can tell with the tread pattern and deeper channels I'll get much improved traction in wet and snowy/winter conditions. I was happy with the Primacy tires for most of the season, but their weak point was cold/winter driving. - 5 out of 5 stars review11/13/2025Great year-round tire. I live in the mountains of Northern California where we get tons of snow, often deep snow. I sold my winter tires as the CC2’s perform well enough on my SQ5 I now don’t need the annual change-over. Currently 45,000 miles on them and looking like at least another 15,000 left on them. More than three times what I was getting out of the Sport Pilots that came with the car. No noticeable difference in mpg or road noise. Very happy with these tires and recommend them.

I have had excellent service in every area from them. They are not listed as EV ready, but I have found tha there is very little cost in range and much improved handling in my Tesla Model 3. Admittedly they are slightly noisier than the OEM tires, but the car is itself so quiet that it is not noticeable. Improved traction, performance and comfort more than make up for any slight increase in road noise. They will also be my next set of tires, unless something wonderfuilly better comes along by that time. And that will be undoubtedly many miles in the future.
