I was averaging 40 to 41 miles per gallon in my RAV4 hybrid Limited with the OEM tires. I just installed a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. These handle better than the OEM and are more surefooted on mountain roads. I read other CrossClimate2 owners were getting lower mpg so I raised the inflation 4 psi over the recommended pressure to see if that would help. Even with the higher pressure I’m now consistently averaging 34.5 MPG. 15% lower. EV’s and hybrid’s get a triple hit from high rolling resistance tires like the CrossClimate 2. First when running on gas only, Second from faster battery drain while using battery power only and a third from a loss in regeneration to recharge the battery when coasting or braking.

Bought these tires for 2013 Prius. Get more rain than snow now in the northeast so thought I would give them a try. Worse decision ever. Now I have been buying Michelin tires for a long time, but these are so noisy. I thought I had a muffler problem then realized it was the tires. Sounds like I’m riding in a tank. As far a driving preferred the pilot sport. Would not recommend for a Prius.

So far with few hundred miles the tires are great. Had some ice/snow and they did well. In the past I have had poor luck with Michelin tires in general. But bases on consumer reports ratings I decided to give the Cross Climate 2 a chance. I will report back after 5 thousand miles.

Bought these last summer in preparation for this winter. It gave me a few months to also see how these performed as everyday tires. Overall, I am very pleased with these tires. On dry and wet pavement I have received good handling and traction. This morning, where I am (Fort Collins, CO), the city was surprised with a bit of a dump. The forecast was for a trace of snow, but I woke up to 5 inches. The city was caught off guard and had not prepared the streets by pre-applying mag chloride. So the morning commute was through 5 inch snow on the residential streets and tracks and a layer of ice on the main arterials. I had no problem negotiating any of it with these tires with the exception of starting from a standing stop where I got a little bit of spin where it was ice. But then, the 4WD and AWD vehicles had the same thing. Shout out to these drivers, the ones I saw realize that 4WD helps you go, but doesn't help you stop. Everyone was driving for the conditions and I saw no accidents on my 6 mile commute. About the only 'con' I have seen is a reduction of gas mileage. In the city, I've had about a 10% reduction in mileage. On the highway, not so much. But I bought these as an everyday all season tire that will get me through those few storms that Colorado receives. I've been very happy with them and unless Michelin or someone else comes out with a better tire, I will purchase another set when these wear out.

I have owned them for two years but this is the first opportunity I have had to drive in slushy snow and sloppy conditions and they did well. I tried them in deeper snow and they do very well. The absolute best rain tires I have every used. They handle well and brake well. I am shocked I am saying all this because I usually do not prefer Michelin. these are the best tires I have ever owned and hope to use them on every vehicle going forward.

This was the first time we replaced the tires since we bought the vehicle. In the past, the car drove well enough, but with these new Michelin Crossclimate2s the car feels like it is floating down the freeway. It is just so smooth! Plus these tires grip the road really well whether the asphalt is dry or wet. We also get loads of compliments on how nice these tires look! (No one has ever complimented our tires before!) We are truly delighted with these phenomenal tires. They are the best we have ever had.

We purchased these tires for our Audi Q5 3.0T several months back and couldn’t be happier. Prior to these, I wasn’t able to drive faster than 50 mph in the rain as the suv would hydroplane nonstop. Scary!! My husband came across these and decided to take a chance on them. Not only did the hydroplaning stop, the vehicle rides better than it ever has. Additionally, we just had a major snow storm today (first since having these bad boys) and I was able to drive it like it wasn’t even snowing. I was also able to get up hills that other vehicles were stuck on without any issues at all. Hands down the best tires in the snow I have ever ever had. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Not sure what they want.

I purchased these tires in October. I live in Colorado and have an AWD SUV and we have had a snow start to the year. I cannot believe how great they are on snowpacked roads. They have been fantastic and worth every penny. Even general snow/rain mixes or flash flooding, these tires give me an extreme amount of confidence and safety to navigate the streets.

So far loving these tires. They’re deliver a quiet smooth ride. Living in Maine we can have rough winters. I read that these were great in the snow. I’ll right more after driving in the snow. Until then only 4 stars as I can’t rate the driving in snow yet.

I recently purchased a set for my 2015 Kia Soul and quickly learned how heavy and mileage sapping they are on a small car with limited horsepower. I now understand why the salesman was pushing them so hard, they must not be selling very well. At the recent price of gas, this is hard to swallow. I’m not impressed
