I have been purchasing these sandwiches for a very long time. The last ones I purchased are a little spicy hot.. I am not fond of them, I liked the ones before the package was changed. I know the package does not have a thing to do with the taste. I have eaten 2 sandwiches out of this box and they are a little spicy hot. If you changed the recipe, please go back to the old recipe.

Was surprised for how good this was for being a “Makers Mark” food product. Follow the cooking instructions and adding your favorite condiments will enhance the flavor. I did mine with lettuce, a little mayo, and some black pepper. I did not add pickles as I do not like pickles on a chicken sandwich. However, was pleasantly surprised with this product.

The sandwich was tasty. The large chicken patty was moist and tender. Enjoyed the hint of pickle. Cooked 3 different ways, favorite was in the oven. Added some cheese, lettuce and honey barbeque sauce. Very comparable to a famous fast food place. Makes for a quick meal.

Halfway alright for a last-resort meal when you're short on time, but that's about it. The pickle flavor is way too strong and takes away from the overall taste of the whole sandwich. The buns are very, very dense- probably necessary to avoid freezer burn. Now that I've tried them, I'd rather buy the "red bag chicken" from Aldi and fresh buns for a far superior alternative to these premade sandwiches. On the plus side, some of the chicken tenderloins are very plentiful in size, at least in comparison to the size of the bun.

Just tried this product and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. When I think southern fried chicken what comes to mind is a buttermilk batter with hints of garlic, thyme, oregano and basil and paprika. The sandwich was bland and I couldn't quite make out the flavor. The bun wasn't great either. The white meat of the chicken was primo though. It wasn't dry and it was a perfect helping. I think you would be better to skip the bun.

The first two out of the box were great, then I got one that is 100% gristle or fake meat. Ewww, it's so gross. I cannot believe they sell this. DO NOT BUY THESE. A couple were fine and now I'm opening the rest and they're just gristle. It's the worst feeling biting into it. I'd like my money back and you can have the gristle back.

I decided to give the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich a try and I was happily surprised at how good it tastes. It is made with real chicken. I used the microwave to warm it up, but I think the next one I eat, I will use the oven or air fryer to crisp it up. It was a very good sandwich. I added Mayo and a pickle and it was really good.

We bought these because the southern style chicken bites were so good we figured the southern style chicken sandwich would be the same. Not the case at all, terrible chicken patty, tough meat, half of the patty was covered with of non-edible skin. The buns are super dry. Now these will sit in the freezer until we're tired of looking at them because the thought of eating another one makes me cringe.

When I went to make this for my daughter, when I opened the package it smelled like pickles. I looked - no pickles. I went made it for her thinking it was just me, and defintelt didnt mention it. After 2 bites, my pickle-hating 10 year old announced it tasted like pickles. So weird! I was bummed because my kids love CFA sandwiches (hold the pickles). Hopefully, my 17 yo still likes them and I didn't waste a purchase.

I take these into work for a hold over from lunch til dinner. Always really good, seasoned enough to be savory, bread is consistent, nothing to write home about. The piece of chicken you get is often double the bread size, i love it. 1 min in the microwave, 5 min in the air fryer.
