For years I bought the most expensive brand of liquid laundry detergent but I never liked those big plastic jugs even though I always put them in the recycling bin. One day I saw that this Tide powdered detergent (that comes in a cardboard box) has OXI in it and I decided to try it. I was really pleased to find that this works every bit as well as the most expensive brands of liquid laundry detergent. I've been using it for nearly two years and I spray blood, grease, or wine stains with a special stain remover and add a "soak" to the wash cycle, but that's exactly what I always did with the liquid detergent that I previously used and the results are the same--stains gone every time. For especially smelly laundry (sweaty or musty) I just add the "soak" and odors are gone. Thhis is much less expensive to use than liquids so why not save the planet from more plastic jugs. Oh and don't even get me started on those obscenely expensive laundry detergent sheets and tablets!

I grew up with Tide and still love it after all these years. It is still one of the best detergents on the market and keeps my white clothes really white, and my colors bright. Like many other people, I have tried different brands from time to time but noticed my clothes turning dingy. It wasn't worth the time or money to make any changes so I'm back for good. This is my first time using the Oxy formula and I love it too, even though all the Tides are good in my opinion.

Remarkable getting rid of gasoline odors on my husband’s clothes. Great at removing spots. My grandmother used Todd when washing machines first came out and my family still finds it the best for cleaning our clothes. Thanks for this sensational product.

Although tide is a little more expensive than other brands. In my opinion it is worth the extra dollars. Tide gets my whites really white and removes stains without prewash. If the marks are really bad I soak my clothes in a mixture of tide and water while my coloured loads are washing.

I wanted to switch to a laundry detergent that did not use plastic for the container it was packaged in. We love Tide in our house and the powder works quite well on keeping our clothes clean. The powder does use a small plastic scoop, but hopefully Tide will come out with something more sustainable.
