We decided to purchase this topper even though a review had warned of the foul smell. Once opened, the awful smell permeated the room. It smells of death and soiled diapers. I do not know how anyone would willingly put this on their mattress. I called customer service to return and was told it had to be picked up. I was told I would receive a call to schedule the pickup. Later that day I received an email with a return label for Fed Ex. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to place back in original box. My husband had to buy a big box from a storage company to be able to send via Fed Ex. Please save yourself the time and aggravation and DO NOT PURCHASE.

I purchased the 3" topper 6 weeks ago as a solution to my uncomfortable bed. I noticed an immediate improvement. Here is a list of my observations so far. * The mattress topper is soft but firm enough that I don't feel like I'm sunk into a hole. * I don't feel a 'cooling' effect But, It does not retain heat, which is perfect for me. I also have a mattress pad over the topper, which I will remove once the nights get warmer. I will update if I notice a difference. * It took my body a few weeks to adjust. At first, I woke up with neck pain. I realized that my neck was positioned differently and that I needed a different type of pillow than I used without the topper. No more neck pain. * I was nervous about this purchase because I've had bad experiences with toppers and mattresses in the past. Sam's Club return policy have me the peace of mind to give it a try, and I am so glad that I did. * I recommend rotating the topper regularly.

I've been using this memory foam topper for about a month now and it's just what I needed. My mattress is too firm and I was considering buying a new one because my back would often times hurt when I woke up. I decided to try this memory foam topper and it's done the trick. It provides the support I needed for my back and its very comfortable. I rarely do reviews, but wanted to share my success with this topper.

We have an 18" King mattress and were worried our sheets wouldn't fit but our Giza cotton sheets fit right over it. It's comfortable and not as hard as a former foam topper we had. It really doesn't have much of a noticable cooling effect. We did have our heavier mattress cover on it, instead of the one that comes with it. We thought that might be the issue with no cooling and changed the covers out. But, there really wasn't much of a difference. Also, I am very reactive to smells and it really didn’t have any type of chemical oder. It fluffed up in one day and we slept on it that night. All in all, a good product at a good price and it saves us from having to buy a new mattress for awhile.

Received damaged. I ordered the king size, so, as you can imagine, it’s quite heavy. I had it delivered to my home. It’s not in merchant packaging. It delivered in a brown box, vacuum sealed. As I get this out, remove the vacuum packaging, as I get to the last portion unroll, it starts expanding and there, on the inside portion/side is a a huge chunk missing from the topper, which looks like a manufacturer defect. Now, after calling and going through the horrific automated customer service to figure out how to return this because it will not fit back in the box, I now have to wait for a return service to pick this up and figure out where to stash a heavy, king sized memory foam topper u til they pick it up! What a nightmare!

I bought this topper for my 18 year old sons mattress. After sleeping on it one day he told us it was “the best night sleep he ever had”! Needless to say he loves it! He is an athlete and needs a good night’s sleep to recover. This was an excellent purchase!

This bed topper is absolutely AMAZING! The foam is so soft, yet so firm! The cooling effect is my favorite part. There is a noticeable different. This took my bed from 10 to 100! If you’re looking for a sign to just buy it, this is your sign! Your back will thank you!
