Your body doesn't sink down in a hole like some toppers I have tried. Holds its shape. I love it came with its own cover too! Easy to remove and wash when needed.

The topper is made of memory gel foam that has a special cooling technology that keeps the space around you cooler when sleeping. I am a restless sleeper that tosses and turns all night long and I am one of those people that's always hot and uncomfortable while sleeping,which is why I wanted to try this specific topper. I definitely thought that this would make my bed much more comfortable as this is a brand that I trust and memory gel foam is great, however, I was a bit skeptical about the cooling effect abilities but figured I had nothing to lose. I am so happy that I gave this topper a chance as it really does keep me cooler while sleeping ,which makes a huge difference in the quality of my sleep.The support is unbelievable,as it literally hits my body at all the right spots like it was customly created just for me. The other part of this topper that I love is that it doesn't transfer movement,so when my spouse moves or gets out of bed I no longer feel movement on my side,which as a light sleeper this is a huge deal. Overall,this is an amazing product that I would highly recommend to everyone, including my family and friends,as the only regret that I have is not getting one of these sooner.

Despite the claims of temperature regulation and a cool night's sleep, I found myself waking up drenched in sweat throughout the night. The gel-infused memory foam failed to provide the promised cooling effect, leaving me tossing and turning in discomfort. Furthermore, the mattress topper did little to alleviate the pressure points and provide adequate support. I had hoped that the 3" thickness would provide a significant improvement to my mattress's comfort, but I was sorely mistaken. The foam quickly lost its shape and failed to provide the necessary support for my body, leaving me with aches and pains in the morning. Another major issue I encountered was the strong chemical odor emitted by the topper upon unpacking. The off-putting smell persisted for several days, even after leaving it to air out. It was extremely unpleasant and disrupted my sleep, defeating the purpose of investing in a mattress topper in the first place. Additionally, the durability of this product is questionable. After only a few weeks of use, I noticed significant wear and tear on the topper. The foam started developing visible indentations and began to lose its shape, compromising its ability to provide the desired comfort and support. Overall, I cannot recommend the Serta 3" Cool Nights Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper. It failed to deliver on its promises of cooling, support, durability, and value for money. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for a better mattress topper option.

This mattress topper is incredible. I bought this mattress topper to help with hip and low back pain and honestly didn't expect much but it turned out great. Obviously, it hasn't cured by back and hip problems but has certainly helped. It stays cool as promised and conforms very well to my body. If you're on the fence about buying it, just do it. I don't think you'll regret it.

I usually get pretty hot throughout the night, but with the Serta cool topper, I was blown away by how cool it kept me. The topper's memory foam feel was great for my back. I work on a computer for about 8 hours a day and this topper has definitely helped with my back pain when I get a full night's rest. When I upgrade to a king I will be buying this topper again.

As soon as I opened If it started to expand and I immediately put the protective cover over it !its soooo comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This topper is amazing. It comes with the pad and also a cover to keep it safe and clean. It was very easy to install, I put mine on, then gave it a little time to fluff up since it was vacuum sealed. After it perked up I put the cover on and my normal sheets. Then sweet dreams! I have told all my friends about how comfortable this pad is, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I own this for over a decade and it is comfortable and held up well. My topper has started to break down and pill and I am looking another. I see people saying various toppers are too soft but they misunderstand what a memory foam topper is for. It's supposed to be soft and squishy and your mattress is supposed to provide the firmness. This is to fill in the gaps between your lower back, behind the knees etc.. that a firm mattress doesn't, it is not to refresh your mattress, though it will help.

My 11-year old is a warm Sleeper. He has trouble getting comfortable or sleeping unless the room is cool. This topper has made it a snap for my son to fall asleep and to stay asleep.
