Sturdy cart at bargain price!

As purchasing agent at my company, I have bought several of these over the past few years. They are nice looking for use at home to use as utility cart for kitchen, laundry, garage but have been tested strong enough in our factory moving heavy boxes of parts around the plant. They come with a plastic tray liner that can be used to keep small items from falling between the wire shelves. I feel that if one improvement could be made, it would be a clip or magnetic tape of some sort to keep them from blowing out when going outside! I have drilled a couple of small holes in each of the four corners and used plastic zip ties to keep in place.

This product is strong and easy to move around

I have purchased this product before when I was in another state working with a home office. We have since then moved to another State however we did not bring the cart with us and looked online to see if Sam's still sold the product and much to our joy they did. The Price is right and the product is still available from Sam's so we were amazed to find that out after ten years. If I were to say anything about this product if you think you need it go ahead and do so because you will not be let down.

Perfect!

Highly recommend! I was able to completely put this together in 10 minutes. It is amazingly sturdy and heavy duty! I was a bit skeptical of the low price, but other reviews were so good I had to try. Very happy that I did! Sam's 'regular' shipping option was quite speedy! Got here within 3 days of placing the online order. Very reasonable too!

A great product that will last for a long time

I bought 2 of these workhorses 9 years ago from SC for our bowling alley & restaurant. We use them everyday to truck around bowling balls and all kinds of heavy stuffs. The carts are very heavy duty and still going strong after all these years. I bought a third one last month for my wife to use around the house, she loves it. The new cart has the same high quality as our 2 originals and I am sure it will also last and last.

Do Not Purchase

I've purchased 12 of these carts for my business. The last 3 I purchased this year (2017). The previous 9 are great carts. The 3 this year are horrible. One had a short leg which I spaced out and got level. The other 2 are almost impossible to push due to the casters sticking in any given position. It's like Seville, the manufacturer, has taken some of the bearings out. I need more but I will not buy these. Sams won't take a return because they're "used" and Seville won't respond to my inquires. Don't buy!

Average

I've been purchasing these for several years and the quality has declining. The posts are about half the diameter of previous versions and are not as sturdy as before. They have excellent heavy duty casters and are a still a good purchase for the price. I would like to see the earlier versions available again. If you are going to put anything heavy on the shelves I recommend drilling and bolting the shelves in place.

Poor wheels

This works great as a shelf, but not a cart. If you want to use it to push around, then the wheels will not perform well, if you want it to be stationary, then it does great. The wheels don't swivel and drag the ground, sometimes making marks on the floor. I have been replacing the wheels with higher quality.

Works well in my garage

I actually bought this cart to sit below a pegboard in my garage, for storing hand tools and various small items. It's solid like a rock and fits my purpose perfectly. Wrenches, nails, sander, drill, they all fit on the cart so that I can find them easily. I have some loose wrenches, pliers, and other small tools that I put in flatware sorters on the top shelf, with larger items below.

Sturdier than most

I've built a lot of wire rack stuff from Home Depot, Lowe's, Bed Bath Beyond, and even Global Industrial. The Global Industrial ones are very strong but also more expensive too. This one from Sam's Club is nearly as well built as Global Industrial's, but with a much better price. All those other ones I mentioned have casters that screw into the same insert that their tiny feet screw into - even Global Industrial. Sometimes those inserts give out under lots of weight. This unit doesn't even use the small inadequate inserts. Instead, the casters that come with it have a big hefty insert built into them, nearly 2" long compared to the weaker ones less than 1". They can be tough to put in, but once installed, they are very solid. Unlike the other brands, these casters will never pop out. Global Industrial still uses heavier steel and stronger rack shelves, but I don't see the ones on this being a problem at all. Time will tell how long it lasts, but based on my prior experience, this one gives me confidence. I recommend it.

Don't waste your money, go for the other brand.

This is the worst cart ever. The wheels do not work properly, therefore I am spending a lot of time trying to get it to go straight. The wheels want to lock in a sideways position, and even after I kick them back in to align with the cart, the minute I start pushing it the wheels go back to the sideways position. I am sorry I didn't spend more money on a better car.
